I can understand what you are saying, what with the big system sellers coming later, but if the 3DS is popular, the shovelware won't stop. Nintendo says that they will try to stop the droughts in the 3DS software lineup, but looking at the way they handled the 3DS launch, I doubt that they will keep the 3DS drought free.

Shovelware are not I will always perfer Nintendo's console over any because they innovate and not still. But I keep a HD console for the other games.

Now let's not be too hasty, here.  True, I haven't fapped to Selena Gomez yet.....but I don't want to rule out the possibility.

in order to see this in effect, you don't have to look any further than the DS and Wii. Both Nintendo systems, both full of shovelware, but only one of them receives constant criticism, because hardly anyone dares to say something against the DS.

I don't see how this is a problem...as long as it gets good games too then I don't care. Even with the overload of "Kiddie" games on the Wii, I didn't mind because it had good games too. Without the "Shovelware" parents would be less likely to buy a 3DS for their kid.
