@Rol;

exactly, beeing released so close to the holiday season, Xeno is a title that has to wait a bit because of that. (for me)

But if only 5% of the people in europe who intend to buy it think and buy the way i do, it's (sadly) a loss. And if we look at RPG's without a big, established name behind it (FF), they arent doing stunningly well in europe, and thats why i would want to sell those games as well as possible over here.

Then a good start would be to buy Xenoblade Chronicles on launch day, even though you will keep it wrapped up for a couple of months.

would be an idea, but there is still much stuff to be bought that isnt related to gaming, sadly. (and i am still pretty new to this 'living on your own' thing xD.. so i am a bit cautious) i could buy Xenoblade of course, but i'd like to have some money left over for .. dunno.. emergencies? xD so i'll stick to furniture, Dark Souls, Skyward Sword and Skyrim (and, to be honest, most likely a 3ds.. <.< xD) for this year. (leave alone that i still have to play Monster Hunter Tri, WKC2, and recently bought PSN Games)

Xenoblade>>>furniture.

Don't anger Nintendo's ninjas or they will get you

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

you have described the way most JRPG's have been released this gen....this is no biggie...it is common.

Most JRPG this gen have been released with little marketing, at a time when people may have other bigger games to look out for.

Anyway I give Xenoblade far higher priority than any other game coming out this year so I don't care, all I care is I will get to play it this year and if you don't buy it this year then your loss as a JRPG fan as less awesome JRPG's will come out here if sales are lower.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I see the only problem is how Nintendo staggers release. A game should be made with the intention of being available to the full set of its potential market. Localization should happen as its created, not as an afterthought per region.

Nintendo has never had to fear the launch of other companies titles, that's part of the reason 3rd parties cry foul on Nintendo hardware.

Well, you need to know your priorities. If you want JRPGs to sell well in Europe, yet would much prefer to buy a 3DS, then perhaps you don't actually care for JRPGs as much as you wish you would do.

Tales of the Abyss 3DS is actually the main reason for this system.. so yeah. ^^

(And i do support games in much greater need of some numbers; Cross Edge, Last Rebellion, trinity universe, etc. :B xD)

edit; though, i have to admit that there is something that drives my decision; The System. If it isnt a game that hypes me to death, i choose by console. If Xenoblade would have been a PS3 game, my basic interrest would be higher. (Same with PD) only TLS will be a First-Day Buy.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

@ OP im sorry i dont agree, August is fine, This game wasnt going to be Just Dance or WiiFit anyway, if people want it, they will get it no matter the time, and what is out in August?? In Europe?? The only thing i can think of is Deus Ex and thats for HDs. Would you have them go to Holidays?? With Zelda?? It will be killed

THis. IMHO, for the crap i give SE about FF13 localization was one of the things they got right, actually SE has been pretty good about that for the last couple of years, not waiting years to be brought outside of Japan. Looking at you Xenoblade

Well, I didn't play Xenoblade yet but I have a feeling that the OP is not as much into RPGs as he claims to be, if he says that there are better choices for him...

This is madness. Europe is being lucky the droughts are ending. For instance in the Americas, I don't even know when the next Nintendo published game will be released, probably in 3 motnhs or so. After E3 the drought will still continue for months, what you're saying is not connected with reality, why be mad about it? Appreciate the effort NoE is doing compared to the numbness of NoA.

You should consider playing Mystery Case Files, I hear it's refreshing.
