you have described the way most JRPG's have been released this gen....this is no biggie...it is common.
Most JRPG this gen have been released with little marketing, at a time when people may have other bigger games to look out for.
Anyway I give Xenoblade far higher priority than any other game coming out this year so I don't care, all I care is I will get to play it this year and if you don't buy it this year then your loss as a JRPG fan as less awesome JRPG's will come out here if sales are lower.
