Doesn't having your game on dual layered discs or multiple discs cost more in a licensing fee?

This is bullshit to be sure but I kinda see what they're going saying.

Pixel Art can be fun.

lol who do they think they are talking to? why not just admit that they do not want to do it instead of lying and make themselves look so stupid!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Lost money for Namco of America just like for Nintendo of America

except that Namco probably needs the revenue a bit more...

pretty much what i was gonna say, but i think they are just being cheap asses, not so much anything against the Wii. But they could have at least released the regular Wii version so Wii only owners would have the option. IMHO it feels like they didnt wanna release this outside Japan so i think we should be lucky to even get an english PS3 version (was getting that version anyway)

That's their story and they're sticking to it, eh? Lame. But not unexpected.

Hmm, so ToG can fit on a Japanese Wii disk, but not an American one? Go figure... :/

They're specifically saying that the added content from ToG f puts it over the Wii disc size, which A) is shown untrue in the first post if they go with a dual-layer disc, and B) wouldn't stuff be able to be downsized for Wii's 480p output from whatever resolution the PS3 version runs at?

A dual layer DVD is still cheaper than blu-ray single layer disc.

You crack me up Namco.

But remember, in EU we have Nintendo's 3 JRPG'S coming. Surely with that support they could release it? Especially if sales were guaranteed...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
