- Either Mass Effect fans are very hardcore, or Mass Effect 3 is going to see a massive improvement over ME2.
- Uncharted 3 needs to overtake Battlefield 3 (PS3).
- I wish Deus Ex was higher.
- Gears is massive as usual.
- Skyrim gets a pretty big boast. It could open higher than Assassin's Creed Revelations (X360).

getting worried about Resistance 3, it's a month and some change away and not in the top 20.

Vgchartz continueing to undertrack Halo CEA is disturbing.

Battlefield 3 on 360 this year is going to be huge, by far the best selling in the franchises history on consoles.

other than that I don't have much to comment other than it looks like Resistance 3 is gonna flop and Twisted Metal still no where to be seen.

BF3 beating out MW3 PS3!!! VGC needs to use some common sense now. If they think that the 360 version of BF3 can even get near the PS3 version in any part of the world they need to consult a doctor right now!

Skyrim beating out games like Uncharted 3, AC and it's getting more preorders than MW3 (PS3) sounds way too crazy!

Last time I checked Uncharted was bigger than AC 2 on 360. And then again why does it have more preorders than MW3(PS3)

Mass Effect 3 didn't make 3 million it died due to having bad legs I don't think that many people are interested in Mass Effect 3. Despite having good hype and critical acclaim Mass Effect 2 couldn't sell that well.

I can't believe the preorder chart could be this inaccurate. Modern Warfare 3 hardly getting preorders on the PS3 version seems to fake. I would think the PS3 version of MW3 could easily outsell Skyrim(360) and Battlefield 3(360) each by a ratio of 2:1. While Uncharted 3 will be able to outsell every game this holidays except Battlefield 3 (360) and Modern Warfare 3( both versions)

I wonder if MW3 (360) can overtake Gears before Gears releases

If you want to be taken seriously, you have to provide a source indicating why you think a certain console/game is under/over tracked

Anyway I'll explain things very quickly.

VGChartz staff themselves have stated quite often that rpgs have much higher preorder to buy ratios than most other genres. That is why Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 have such high preorders. Their first week sales in Americas won't be much higher than the preorders.

Assassins Creed is much bigger than Uncharted in Americas. Remember these are going to be initial sales, not lifetime where uncharted will be able to start catching up due to not having sequels every year. Assassins Creed 2 on the 360 outsold uncharted 2 in americas even though a sequel came out one year later and multiconsole owners could have got the game for the ps3 as well. Yes AC is much bigger than Uncharted 2 in terms of sales.

MW3 for the ps3 is tracking ahead of black ops for the xbox 360 was with 19 weeks left. Its tracking seems perfectly fine if not overtracked. Than again it has seemed like people are more likely to preorder nowadays. The only game I do agree is odd is Battlefield 3 being so high for the 360.  It seems way to high unless they have already begun a massive advertising campaign. I don't watch too much TV to know if they have.
