Both have very different gameplay. Winner is Halo for huge amount of content....

... now, if this was Killzone 2...the outcome would probably still be the same, but it would be closer.

I never liked both games, they both seem so generic, but I would give my vote to Killzone 3 for the technical achievement.

Halo Reach. Killzone, was an already mediocre fps franchise that sold out to be a COD clone with killzone 3. Single player goes to killzone 3, because I had a fun time using the move controller now that I finally got move. Though thats more to do with me enjoying the control scheme rather than the actual campaign. Makes me almost want to buy the game, but I'll just keep playing it at my friend's house and wait for a better move supported shooter to buy. MP goes to halo reach by a far bigger margin than killzone 3. Better maps, better gameplay, more variety, did I mention more variety.

I bought Killzone 3 although I'm not really into fps anymore. I had move already so wanted to try for myself if it could get close to mouse control. Well not really, it's better for aiming but crap for turning while running.
The game was very pretty and the new control scheme and variety kept me interested to the end.

I played co-op for a bit as well (why no move in co-op?) but some stages got very confusing. There was too much detail on screen to always see what you were shooting at in split screen. We gave up at the mech section, frustrated by getting shot by unseen foes and the annoying forced catching up when one of us got behind.

I only played vs multiplayer for an hour, not for me.

The ice sea level and the battle in the scrap yard are the high points for me, and the end credits.

I did not play Halo reach, the demo didn't win me over. Neither did the killzone 3 demo, just the interest in move game play did, so no vote this time.

I know... what this nation needs..

Killzone 3, HANDS down. Favourite shooter this gen <3

EDIT: Also guys, Uncharted 2 is amazing but GoW3 had you know.. these EPIC moments, throughout the ENTIRE game. Uncharted 2 was an amazing adventure with a great story, GoW3 was an amazing journey filled with revenge.

Do guys like adventures about treasures, or do they like killing gods?
:}, Uncharted 2 is still a BETTER game in my opinion. But God of War 3 is more to my enjoyment because I just love epicness and mythology. Both are straight 10's in my book though.

I'm still shocked about what happened with Uncharted 2. They were both great games one of the best action/adventure games this gen. But Uncharted 2 really made sony fanboys put down the 360 fanboys by a lot. And that was there game of the gen. But I'm shocked it only landed in 5th place

41-33 Reach. It looks like Reach might win this but Killzone 3 is not far away and has a pretty big chance.

TBH it only landed where it did because of the move to pit PS3 vs PS3 titles and give Reach second chances and try and give 360 titles a chance to compete.  Whether by demographic choice or whatever it's pretty clear that in a straight poll on the site the big PS3 exclusives would take the top spots.  Wthe 36hat it did show (hopefully the 360 fans will see you can extrapolate the results in this manner) is that the real key to winning polls like this online isn't have the biggest sales but the most dedicated mini-fanbase.  Personally, from what I've seen it seems likely number 1 should be MGS4 as it surely has the most ferocious fanbase on the site, followed probably by GoW3 in second then Uncharted 2 in third, after that I'm not too sure which fanbase would win out for the remaining positions.

Sorry to complain but TBH for me the poll lost the plot a while back with such moves... when you have to change the rules mid competition and give titles "free passes" the results don't really matter much anymore it seems to me.

But hey... plenty of fun moments in the discussion around games.
