Microsoft obviously. Sony has yet to create an online phenomenon as significant as Gears of War let alone Halo.



You may have trouble paying attention to the story, though, given Crysis 2's constant sensory assault. This is the best-looking console game to date.

In my opinon Gears of War has pretty average MP. Gears 3 was okay other than that Gear of War 1 and 2 were both crap. I can't say about Halo but Killzone 3 and Halo Reach and Uncharted 2 are my three favourite MP games of all time. GT5 comes second. Gears of War doesn't really exist in my favourite.

I am biased and have never played an MP xbox game so clearly prefer the ps3 games. Aside from the fact that i have only played those, the ps3 games seem more innovative ranging from solely online games to platform co-op (LBP) to TPS and mechs. It just seems more interesting.

Microsoft has the better online period, but when it comes to games then you should look more closely at 3 party devs. And I believe that when they are making a game they try to make both the same for both consoles. As for what little 1st party games Microsoft and Sony has well that is not even a debate.

Talking about games that actaully had good MP. Not just every MP game. Only comapiring the good ones. I might put Fable 2 and 3 down.

Crackdown 2 has really fun multiplayer and 4 player co-op that I still play regularly. I played the crap out of Halo Wars for several months and the multiplayer was very addicting. I would still be playing it if my friend didn't borrow the game and then loose it :(

totaly agree  : even if I only got a ps3 I must admit that when it's come to online gaming Microsoft is way better than Sony.

Microsoft seem to be relying on the usual games, whereas Sony aren't. I think the upcoming Starhawk might be good enough to be included in Sony's list.
