Apple don't tend to do things like that. They wait until technologies have been developed, then "improve" them and mark them up.

I'd like you to point out to me what they did improve over the other competitors since they stop being a PC only company ???? they mostly take old, proven tech and repackage them better than the other with a huge marketing campain for the mass market....

3D and touchscreen can't happen

as u can't touch popping out effect, that would be holographics

although VITA's back touchpad is the solution to touchscreen and 3D

I don't understand why everyone wants to make 3D phones and stuff LOL.

Just like almost everything, some things suit stuff and don't suit other things. For example, with Touch tech it worked with the DS, it works with phones, it works for portable tablets like the IPad. Touch tech wouldn't be very fun though for say a Home System.(Looking at you Wii U...though that is besides the point)

I really enjoy 3D. It helps make things look really good and can greatly enhance the experience IMO. It works well with movies.(With glasses) and it seems to work with games such as the PS3 or obviously the 3DS. Now with phones...I don't see it. I mean, what would be the purpose? It would just drain the battery life and your texts would be in 3D. It would be like watching a foreign movie with only the subtitles in 3D LOL.

Now with a tablet like the Ipad? It could work but that would eliminate the Touch feature. Like the OP said, it didn't work with the 3DS. There is a reason for that...it makes the 3D more annoying than helpful.

That is, indeed, what I meant.
