I've been trying to get into a match for about three hours now and I've only succeeded once. It was co-op and it froze after 5 minutes.

Pros:

Guns have more kick

Cons:

Graphics actually look worse than uncharted 2

Friendly fire is back (WHY???!!!???)

3D is terrible

Maybe I will have more good things to say when I actually get to play more matches but right now it seems pretty mediocre. I think ND should just focus on single player, that is their strong suit.

I played a game with my brother splitscreen and it was amazing! In our 2nd game (2v2v2), the PS3 froze too -__-

I guess you did not read what you were downloading. It said "Uncharted 3 multiplayer BETA." Ill put an extra emphasis on "BETA." Honestly I have not been experiencing as many issues you guys have been experiencing and I can comfortably say the mp is looking like it will be one of the bes ever. I dont think Naughty Dog planned on haaving this many people in the beta. I guess they forgot over 77 million people have Playstation Plus right now. Trust me though, this game is going to be a blast to play once all of these lag/freezing issues are resolved. Especially on airship. That was very fun.

I agree the game is a lot of fun when it works, and it pretty much is a true Beta. I think we've been spoiled by "betas" that are pretty much just demos. Either way I look forward to getting to play this again in a couple of days

I've been in betas before and they didn't freeze my console every two seconds. I know its a beta but it should atleast be playable.

But thats not even the point, the point is it doesn't look like a huge improvement over UC2. Those are just my initial impressions (from 5 minutes of play) they are subject to change.

Yeah I guess I was a little too harsh on you, my bad. But again most betas are just marketing techniques that persuade people to buy the game. ND has added crap load in this game. Uncharted TV, more perks, more dynamic maps, etc. On top of that the game needs to support 3d. This game probably requires quite a bit of processing power. But again this game is simply awesome when the lag/feezing/framerate issues are not hindering it.

The servers are most likely overloaded due to pretty much every ps3 owner having access to the beta. This should not have been open to everyone on day one. 

I loved uncharted 2 but I wasn't a fan of multiplayer. I'll be buying UC3 either way for the SP but unless the online component is more compelling than UC2 I probably won't be spending much time with it. Again, I haven't even been able to get into a competitive match or really play with all the new features so I can only speak on the very few things I've noticed (graphics, 3d).

But yeah, still looking forward to this. 

ffs why does everything allways take me soo long to download its downloading at 1mb/15 seconds atm when i have a 14mb connection

It plays a lot slower than Uncharted 2's multiplayer. The frame rate also felt rather poor.

It froze on me during my first match so that's about all I have.
