Forums - Nintendo - What was the problem with the 3DS charge cradle again?

So far, I like it a lot better than the traditional plug. You just simply put it down on the cradle instead of trying to stick it in the hole.

It's easy to to take it out, too, since it's wide open.

who has a problem with the cradle charger?

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

I love the cradle!

As far as I know the only problem people complained about was the battery life, not the cradle.

What's that problem you are talking about?

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

My 3DS is bound to arrive tomorrow :')

I like the cradle, but sometimes I like to play the 3DS while it's on the charger, so the cradle isn't very helpful in that aspect.....

i think people were dissapointed it wasn't like those powermats in that it charged magnetically or whatever the deal is, but instead when the weight is set down its makes little probes pop out and charge it.

it wasn't as technologically special i think the deal was.

its kind of like a magic trick. they were all super pumped about it and thought coolest thing ever till they saw how basic it works. then somehow it lost all its magic and wasn't COOL anymore.

personally i love it. don't have to worry about the cord falling behind the desk or whatever ever. never have to worry about making space to set down your 3ds to charge, the dock always is tehre. ect. brilliant, and due to being basically a cheap knock off immitation to the power matt its i'm sure affordable as heck for nintendo

Everyone I know with a 3DS (myself included) loves the cradle. I can't see why anyone would have a problem with it

I mean, it was obvious, but it's completely necessary.

That's what she said.

OT: My problem is that the 3DS doesn't stay in the cradle firmly enough. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
