It depends, we do have some quality users, but it is slowly becoming like gametrailers, where intelligent users are leaving for better sites or just moving on. If you asked me this question a year ago, I would say this was a very intelligent place, now a days . . . I just don't know.

well when it comes to tech talk...I'm all the way out in left field scratching my head, so yes more intelligent than me in that area.

as overall gamers, atleast people who have a certain console of choice when in an argument back it up with facts or data analysis then the usual f*** off/ you're a b*** comment I see on other gaming websites, so yes VGC seems to be a better/intelligent overall community when I compare it to other sites it go to.

This site used to be full of amazing members who posted some pretty well thought out stuff and we had very lively threads that would go on for hundreds of posts with lots of good stuff being contributed.

The website itself has improved dramatically but the userbase has taken a downturn for the worst. Over zealous fans now are overpopulating the site and most of the newbies really haven't contributed much.

Sadly us old school guys are dwindling fast and being replaced by a "new school" that isn't as fun as we used to have.

These are exactly my thoughts.

Many of the awesome users that used to frequent the site often have either left for good or only come around once in a blue moon. And without very many new awesome users showing up this site just doesn't have the fun atmosphere that it used to. Mind you its still one of the better places on the web as far as forums go but it seems to be going in a downward spiral.
