You are asking that every house hold to have a reciever type device in which first, they'd need to all have the tablet that comes with a reciever device, second, to be all compatible with each other, third, to up the cost of the overall due to that, that's not how computing works. And if my handheld has only a multi-touch screen, I'll murder somebody, because that's definitely no the best gaming solution at all. Oh, and local multi-player would require four 600 dollar tablets or more, in which I ask, "huh?"
