That article lists the suspect name which is against the law in the UK (I think?). It also says they stopped tweeting... which is definitely false.

I was going to copy and paste the sky news article on this thread but noticed it had the suspects name also.

I also wonder what the law is on posting a suspects name publically? do they need to be charged or have substantial evidence im not sure how it works.

it's not against the law as i far as i'm aware it is however illegal to name a minor in the press (apart from special cases such as the jamie bulger case)

This guy best hope we stick to our usual views on deporting suspects if they get him to America he's done for wonder how much he'll lul in prison

idk. It'd be hard hitting a minor as an adult on hacking charges, even ones like these. It'll be enough of an international incident to have a minor extradited period, and then the image of the CIA bearing down on him would be quite bad for image purposes...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

For the lulz now, this guy deserves serious prison time for causing major losses to companies.

19 isn't a minor he's old enough to do so many things. For hacking a government computer he faces atleast 10 years how he had a good laugh while it lasted.

Anyone who's breaking the law is obvious a criminal.

Good.

Now that would be embarrising for sony haha

Apparently the guy just ran the IRC channel Lulzsec used. He's not the mastermind. Not even part of the group from the looks of things.
