If it takes me 30 seconds to sync my god damn trophies, how long will it take to steal millions of users data?

This is all the hackers took, it's available through a google search, Facebook etc. and I have now made it available on this thread...What's the harm?

Considering what they took was essentially a lot of plain text, not that long really.

Also they took your password (which you probably sensibly left out of your post) and they took that data along with ~100 million other users data. It's the quantity of data along with the nature of the data (personal information combined with passwords and emails) that makes it valuable. It doesn't matter how much you say you don't care about your data being leaked - it doesn't stop the data that was leaked being with quite a lot of money to some people.

The reason why you posting that data isn't the same is because while it may be doable for an individual, doing it for 100 million people (or for that matter doing it for 10,000 people) simply isn't practical.

I guess that's true, but we are still talking MILLIONS here.

And I believe passwords were protected, hence the reason why nobody had their account stolen after the hack. And then there is what happens after, you can't just instantly process 100 million passwords, the hackers would leave themselves wide open to being caught aswell.

I wasn't talking about if the hackers got rich or not, I was talking about how much it has affected me. And the only way it affected me was that I couldn't play online for 3 weeks.

Passwords were plain text. Only CC numbers were encrypted. Also the hackers wouldn't be wide open to being caught, everything they do is almost certainly behind a screen of proxy addresses and suchlike making them exceptionally difficult to track down.
