Why? Aftersome years, if you come to me saying that my  28 millions prediction was wrong, I'll just say it wasn't the real prediction, but the 39 million's one was. Same for the 39 millions and 73 millions predictions.

I hereby declare that the my 60Million prediction contains a clause depending on the release dates of the other two consoles. The details of this clause are contained in the original post.
2014 release = 70M
2015 release = 80M

Great idea to do a table, I'm going to do some serious crow eating if it goes beyond 80million.

75 million is my prediction. I'm confident that the console will have a 2D Mario game in the launch window, but a lot of generic HD ports from PS360 as well so it can't sell more that the Wii.

No way to know really... We still dont know about the competition, the Wii U offerings, or price...

I still stand by my 50 million unless Nintendo makes some changes. People think Wii U is a new Wii, not a new system. Like what's happening to the 3DS.

I'm basing this off wii sales so 45 million

With how much the market has grown over the past couple of generations, I suspect we're looking at sales between 80 and 120 Million units; if it does unusually well it might sell as many as 140 Million, and if it does unusually poorly I could see it sell 60 Million, but anything beyond that is unrealistic.
