I LOVE Vgchartz....

but god does the tracking of pre-orders need work still. Some of these numbers are just way off honestly.

Not bad for OoT, Battlefield good, SS increases after E3, Gears dominates. Fairly routine.

But COD, sadly shows how people will continue buying the game...how and why do they get these numbers?

No its not its higher but if thats what Vgchartz wants to label it as then more power to them.

Are there more pre-orders for gamestop alone?

I won't discuss exact numbers other than as a retailer Gamestop alone first week pre-orders of Halo CE almost surpassed Uncharted 3's total pre-orders.  Not quite it was probably around 2/3's of Uncharted but should have it surpassed with two weeks of pre-order data or 3 weeks.

Again I'm not trying to knock Vgchartz at ALL I LOVE this website but their pre-order tracking is just off.  For example Gears 3 has seen a big drop in pre-orders over the last 2 weeks.

^ are you saying gears 3 is still going stronger than what vgchartz is showing?

He says its going slower which makes a lot of sense.
