Oh because your speculation is so much more divine. Seriously I'm not going to say the WiiU version would sell more, I personally could care less. But you obviously have a bone to pick with Nintendo fans. Your pre-conceived notion that GTA couldn't do well or be on a Nintendo platform is really illogical.

Its like when Morgan Webb claimed that hardcore games on the Wii , weren't hardcore because they were on the Wii. She made the statement on live TV when they were talking about how Nintendo was trying to appeal to third parties to bring hardcore games to the Wii.

I won't use the word fanboy because I don't know why you have a bone to pick with Nintendo. But no my speculation is no less logical then yours, you not commenting simply means you have nothing logical to disprove my speculation and as such would rather not get called out. Fact is even in this very thread I counted four posts where users are talking about a WiiU version. Its logical and practical and Nintendo gamers among others want to see GTA on a Nintendo home console, and we likely will with WiiU whether you like it or not!

The only gamers I get annoyed at are Nintndo only gamers who call others graphics whores for years and only think HD is worthwhile when it is made by Nintendo. Also as I have stated many a times I am not a fan of speculation because I like to stick to cold hard facts. Blame it on my college were in the sciences of biology and psychology I studied you are taught to be a skeptic. So until gta V is officially announced for wiiU I will believe it will not be on that console, and secondly since GTA: China town wars bombed on the DS I assume that is not the type of game that is bought in great numbers by Nintendo owners. Why would nintendo owners flock to gta if it is on wiiU just because it is on a nintendo console? Most people who want to play GTA would already have bought a system they could play it on. Not fact, but I will make small assumptions. Remember the hype for the 3ds on here? Well, the appearance of great sales because of hype on internet forums does not reflect the real world. In the real world, the system is flopping. So I say do not assume a wii U version would sell so well just because our fellow VGchartz users are talking about it. I do not hate Nintendo, but they certainly do not often meet my expectations of what a fun game is anymore (at least not anymore).

No worries, I don't think the WiiU version will outsell the competition either. However to assume it wouldn't really doesn't sound good.

Also you point out a good point, GTA:China Town Wars did not sell amazing on the DS. 1.19 million copies sold, however put that up against the PSP version which only sold 810,000 copies which is almost half a million copies less. Proving that Nintendo consumers are as willing to buy GTA games as say Sony consumers. Now the other two GTA titles on PSP sold many more copies then GTA:China Town Wars did on DS, however they were also different products altogether.

Now 3DS sales and hype, you can't believe it I mean Conduit and Red Steel 2 were two of the most hyped Wii games to date. Neither title performed well. But that doesn't mean you can write off every logical assumption.

You say that the consumers buying GTA and Nintendo consumers are different. This is true and exactly the reason Nintendo wants Grand Theft Auto. Nintendo said at E3 that WiiU will target the hardcore, the market that did not buy Wii. These non-Nintendo consumers are exactly the ones Nintendo wants to appeal too. Reggie said he wants GTA on Nintendo's home platforms. Its a no brainer that Nintendo will want GTA5 on their platform and for RockStar even if it didn't sell as well as the 360 and PS3 version its a chance to make more money.

Infact many third party games being released in 2012 will probably be released multiplatform across all three platforms. You may call that an assumption and not based entirely on facts. But it makes alot of buisness sense for the third parties and Nintendo.

Next generation, you may have an entirely different view of what a Nintendo gamer is. Just look at the evolution NES/SNES (Hardcore gamers consoles), N64,GCN (Kids consoles) , Wii (Grandma's and soccer mom's), WiiU (Serial killers and arsonists lol). Nintendo is very hard to generalize I don't think N64 or GCN were kiddy but that is a thought many supposed hardcore gamers have.

Nintendo is constantly evolving and constantly changing their image. You don't know what the company will look like next gen. Its very hard to assume that they will stay the same.

As for not liking gamers who are exclusively Nintendo owners. I don't see many PS3 only owners taking heat? Or 360 only owners taking heat? It seems that the owners of the HD twins often pick on Nintendo exclusive owners for no apparent reason. Nintendo creates game machines too and a Nintendo only owner is no less a gamer than a PS3 only owner. What about all those PS2 only owners, they rarely took flack either.

Fact is a gamer is a guy who plays and enjoys video games. One who prefers one company over the other is no less a gamer then the one who likes the opposing console. Then their gamers like me who own every console but I may be more open minded to games on competitors consoles but I am no more a gamer than a Microsoft only fan. Though I do think that owning all the consoles is way more adventageous to the gamer then sticking with one. But everyone has their favorites and their choices!

Grand Theft Auto IV was one of the best games of this generation, and the The Lost of the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony further prove that. Chinatown wars was also fantastic. So whatever GTA game I am given I'm sure I'm going to be happy with it. Man, GTA 4 needs more love !!!

Well, when I first came here I hated Nintendo for its success and those he seemed to take joy in the possibilty of Sony quiting making consoles and games. I was banned for it a lot. I have tried to mellow out recently, but still occassionally say my bad opinions about the wii. I also do not like how many Nintendo fans constantly act like the media is on a mission to destroy Nintendo. I find it parinoid and annoying so I do say things to people telling them I think there wrong about that. I do give Sony fans the least heat and do complain more about Microsoft so I am not perfect. Still I have had to avoid Nintendo threads for months to avoid getting banned by Maxwell for saying my true opinion after he banned me for little things three times in a row. Since he is gone now ,I stlill try to stay out of Nintendo threads to maintain civility. Anyways, you are the first guy to call me out on this so since I am a fairly reasonable guy I will continue to try to not attack users, but I certainly will always call out the problems I have with any company be it Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

LOLZ I have never seen a person get so worked up by Nintendo or the WiiU. Chill out buddy, everyone has their own opinion. And my opinion is that GTA5 will sell like hot cakes for WiiU.

Or maybe... Wii U, as well? o_0
