“Core focus for us in our press briefing this year with Kinect actually came from two sides,” said Spencer in the interview in Los Angeles.
“As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.
“The interesting thing with the amount of original content that creators came to the show with – things like what Mass Effect did, Ghost Recon – we didn’t know that was going to be on our stage when we started our E3 planning.”
It comes as Spencer made comments during E3 that all future first-party titles would come with support for the motion controller in some form.
