The power supply in the currently slim is already tiny. I bet they'll use the same case, just smaller internals now though. Less heat produced from it too with the power cut.

It's kinda big, I'm not sure where I would put it... But I love racing games, and all the racing games on the Wii suck. But I've tried out some for the PS3 at a couple stores, and they were really good!


Big? Well, I'm not sure if I would agree with you there, and if you like racing games you can get gran torismo and need for speed, those are awesome

Well, I guess it's not as big as I thought, but it could replace my DVD player and stuff, so yeah. If a new model comes out, I'll probably just get the cheapest version. You can always add more space with an extra hard drive or whatever, right?


Ya that's an awesome thing about the ps3 is that it uses average computer hard drives, so you can just buy a big one at any store, like 1T. It's understandable to wait for now too, since this rumor is out that newer model will come with a price cut, but either way I'm happy with my ps3. =D


Make sure that it's a Laptop (2.5") hardrive that you're buying and not a a Desktop (3.5").


Ohh I didn't know that, I thought it could be a desktop hard drive, well either way it's pretty awesome.

It has to be a laptop one. One for a desktop wouldn't fit in the slot which is pretty tight on the 2.5" hard drive. 


Still though not to much of a difference as replacing a ps3 hard drive is a badassed feature =D

I dont see why Microsoft and $ony wouldnt release modified models each year (slightly smaller physically and smaller chips).

hard drives don't cost that much. You can get a 250GB hdd for like 50 bucks on newegg.
