maybe the sit isn`t updated so much than vgchartz is

It's a huge joke.
They should put it in the Guneness World Book 09.
For the BIGGEST video game joke ever.

Basically the three consoles just increase by a timer, so if you count how many Wii it increases by in a day, and then do the same 10 days later you will get the same number.

Occasionally the numbers are updated to be closer to reality [possibly using the quarterlys? but I'm not sure I should even give them that much credit] but the rate at which each console increases hasn't been changed, which is why their numbers show no holiday sales [nor any other sales spikes like price cuts]

 Yeah, it's already been said that it increases automatically at the same rate. and it did update in August or maybe it was early September, right after VGChartz announced the the Wii had surpassed the 360 like I said earlier.

Bah, my bad.  Anyways, although it's three month average rank is 37,750, it's current rank is 52,494.  That means a major decrease in traffic.  VGChartz had a rank yesterday of 7,037.  That means it's going up. :)

I wouldn't call the site as a joke, but it's not credible by any means. There were couple of months when it was doing ok, but since it looks like it only tracks the shipped number, it's close only when manufacturers give their numbers couple times a year.

But, as everyone can see, VGC proved it's credibility against NGW. NPD and Media create will be next.

For a while NGW was listed on google as an un-safe site. I was actually using NGW as a source. (I had no idea it wasn't even credible.)

After I found some OTHER sources proving its failure, I saw somebody link this site.
And I am quite confident in VGC.
