i think it will sell around 8 million lifetime sales. if the 360 gets a price cut in sept as well, then maybe 500k to 1 million extra for lifetime sales.

10 million is NOT impossible. That being said I don't think it'll happen unless reviews are just incredible for it.

I'm leaning towards 7.5-8 million LT which is still absolutely massive for an exclusive.

Whatever it does, the game is shaping up to be a blockbuster. I'm excited to see how the trilogy ends more than anything.

Gears' trajectory on pre-orders is showing that it will launch significantly behind Halo: Reach. And Reach is taking it's time getting to 10 million, if indeed it does. The game ought to expand the Gears player base which is what's really important.
