My graphics card is crying right now.
Are these confirmed to be real-time? The 2nd shot of the last batch of pics looks like it has bokeh (those circular light artifacts on the bottom)... which whould be pretty crazy for real-time post-processing.
Currently playing: Gran Turismo 5
Just finished: Infamous 2

real time running at well under 30 fps on the most beastly rig you can get without liquid nitrugen probably. Probably using 3 GTX580s etc just like the unreal demo was running on, probably overclocked.

definitely down sampled screens...non the less very amazing...but you won't need a 1500 dollar rig...a simple 1k rig should be enough to run it perfectly smoothly at highest settings since the game itself has a lower poly count than crysis 1

link? I don't remember any details on that about BF3

a link from the eyes to the brain should be enough. not pointed towards you just meaning that you can probably tell it by just comparing some screens of both games with a little bit of understanding about graphics.
but that wasn't even ment to sound negative cause BF 3 on PC looks absolutely stunning and knowing that it will run on affordable hardware (sure not cheap but neither exorbitant) does make it even more awesome

From the screens in this thread I would say that charicter models at least match the main charicter models from Crysis 1, Crysis 1 has a lower character polycount than Uncharted 2 after all, polycount was never Crysis' strong point. BF3 looks to have a very high poly count with tones of fine detail at least matching Crysis if not bettering it, Cysis did have some great bump mapping tho. And if BF3 makes use of tessilisation then it will be able to push poly counts many times what Crysis has, and the fact BF3 is built from the ground up for DX10/11 and aims to push top end PCs I bet it will.
Here look at the poly make up of a crysis' head from the cutscene model of a main character which is the highest poly models they have and all other models have around a 6th of the polycount, also keep in mind that crysis heads make up over half of the total polycount of a character.

Looks like the Witcher II being best looking game can finish quite soon ;)
Hmm maybe it's time to look into SLI/CF solutions ;)
