thought infamous 2 could do a bit better but oh well,i guess there was a couple of other new releases to contend with

That is just one day of sales though. Infamous 2 launched on the 10th of June in Europe and other places. I think that some places didn't even see the launch that week anyways, so next week's sales should be good methinks...

Don't you think saying that it is only one day of sales (though I think it's 2 days) is a bad excuse considering most games (including it's predecessor) in Europe launch Thursday/Friday?

Well it used to be Thursday for Europe and Friday for Uk.

I can't believe those inFamous 2 numbers..

But you were quick to call doom on Kung Fu Panda 2 lol

What do you mean by that?

Well its all good IMO since AMERICA carried INFAMOUS 2 and opened about 320k WW which is higher than infamous 1.

Now some mentioned its only released 1 day and probly hasn't release in other countries in that week so NEXT week we should see if its true.

Can't wait for price cuts and SKU changes to shuffle up things and get more exciting in the next few months...

People bought DNF?
First week?
Full price?
Why?

Infamous 2 is available on PSN (at least in the UK store). So with PSN sales it definitely outsold the first game.

Do you know people that buy full-priced $60 games on PSN? I doubt anyone does.

i think Infamous 2 will see great legs in Europe...word of mouth will do it...hopefully... :-/

You'd be surprised. Bioware said that PSN sales accounted for a double digit percentage of Mass Effect 2 sales.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

Well, one the other side people feeling bad @ Infamous numbers, it will have legz, unlike Duke who will sink to the deep dark abysmal bottom pretty soon.

Wow. Mass Effect 2 was £50 on PSN at launch (don't know if it still is)... As is infamous 2. People are crazy. I could shop online and get both for approx £55 right now.
