Sega had headset before Sony (came with Alien Front Online and seaman)
Sega had Motion controller as well, but I guess that doesn't really count as controller free gaming. (Samba de amigo)

Dreamcast is so underrated... Dreameye for the dreamcast.. heck it had 2 minigames but it worked.. and ALien front Online had a microphone support for the.. Dreamcast headset.. look a picture with both of them:

And while I love Parappa the Rapper there was Dance Aerobics on the NES with the Power Pad

I hope Nintendo has to pay royalties to Sega for the WiiU, and its screen built in controller idea. Dreamcast had VMU first damn it!

ealier companies like atari also had other innovations creditted ( unfairly ) to nintendo like analog sticks ( first found on the vectrex ) and light guns ( magnavox )
