By now you're probably in the Snowpeak Ruins. I beat the miniboss there in one hit (I'll tell you how i did it after you fight it). From the Skyward Sword previews I've read and watched, I can tell they are addressing this issue and making the minibosses and bosses tougher but I'm still concerned because it looks like the regular enemies are still as stupid as ever. This takes out all the fun of fighting a horde of about a dozen enemies, which hardly ever happens in 3d zelda anyway. In the snowpeak ruins, you do get to fight these ice warriors that can actually give you trouble, much like regular enemies in most other 3d adventure games!

Yeah I'm in Snowpeak but haven't reached the boss. But those frozen enemies really make a lot of damage! Like 4 hearts or something like that. It was really scary when I hit one and it slide to the wall and bounce back to me  =D

Can't believe this enemies are more dangerous than the bosses lol

The ice warriors that can spawn javelins are the toughest. After a while, you learn how to avoid most of the other ice baddies. BTW, it was the miniboss I beat in one hit, not the boss.

I finally finished the dungeon and yeah the miniboss was disappointing, very easy. The ice warriors  you talk about are tough but again they barely make any damage, the same with the final boss. The problem I was having with the other enemies was that I didn't know you could press buttons fast after being frozen, so I received  a lot of damage not doing it. Is a shame really you receive more damage this way than fighting the dungeon boss.

On my second play through the game, since I already knew where to get all the hidden skills, I got the attack you will be getting next BEFORE enterring the Snowpeak ruins. I hit the miniboss with this attack once, and that was all it took to down it. You should be in my favorite dungeon in the game by now. In my opinion, the next dungeon has the best of almost everything in TP as far as dungeons go, though it doesn;t have the best boss fight(still one of the best) and it doesn't use the wolf form or as many of your weapons as a few other dungeons do.

You mean the one you have to keep pressing the A button to gain power for the slash attack or whatever is called?

Oh, one question about the Snowpeak ruins, there's a chest in the first floor which I couldn't reach. I'm guessing I need a special item to get it later..... or did I miss something?  Please don't tell me what this item may be, just if it's true or not :)

How about trying to beat a zelda game without collecting any heart peices. If anyone hasnt suggested this already.

I want to do that with Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time, because are the easiest in the serie.

See that's the kind of thing I would enjoy, but I find it difficult not to go pick up the heart piece before warping out of the boss chamber. It's a compulsion, if I don't pick up the heart I don't feel I have completed the dungeon (same as if I don't open all the dungeon chests)

Ugh, I hate this feeling in Twilight Princess - open a chest, it's money! Wait, full wallet? NO, DON'T PUT IT BACK!

I've done it on Oot, and im on the last dungeon in tp with 3 hearts

Zelda really needs a Hard Mode for veteran gamers. If they can implement and ball-breaking mode in Fire Emblem, why no Zelda?

I'm game (sorry, couldn't resist)!

Anyway, I'm actually almost done with my first play-through of Twilight Princess. Just beat Zant earlier and learned the final hidden technique, so now I'm back in Hyrule Castle.
After I beat it, I'm gonna play Majora's Mask on VC library.

I'd like to join, i've already started TP.
I just did that goat herding thing and i always have troubles with the last goat. He just refuses to go down without ramming me a few hundred times

Yeah, like there was master quest for Oot

It would be awesome if each Zelda had a second quest like the first NES Zelda or OoT Master Quest.  With significantly ramped up difficulty (i.e. tougher enemies, increased damage, etc.) and remixed dungeons (with devious puzzles that the Zelda team is capable but hold back on).  That would add about six more months to the development time.  Or maybe it could be DLC or something.

Ok, so I have another Zelda rant.

Currently I'm in the Snowpeak Ruins in Twilight Princess, but I'm also playing Ocarina of Time on the 3DS and some things are irking me about it.

The game had potential to be more challenging than it was had Navi not held your hand throughout the entire quest and pretty much gave you solutions to puzzles. But then, what also annoys me is how some puzzles would be pretty decent but then an item creates a scapegoat for it. For example: The very last room you visit in the Forest Temple's second floor - it has the pillar in the middle of a moat with a torch on it with the four rotating pillars around it and the frozen switch that untwists the second corridor. Most people probably didn't even have to figure out the puzzle at all and just got bailed out by using Din's Fire. There shouldn't be easy ways out of stuff like this, I don't think.

Yeah, maybe they could make zelda have difficulty levels;

Beginner: Easy Dungeons. Weak enemies. Hints. Easy puzzles. Weak bosses. Less damage recieved from hits.

Normal: Medium dungeons. Medium enemies. Slightly harder puzzles. Stronger bosses. Medium damage recieved from hits. Little hints.

Hard: Hard dungeons. Strong enemies that are hard to kill. Puzzling puzzles. Bad-ASS bosses. A lot of damage recieved from hits. No hints whatsoever.

This however would take a long time and a lot of effort. I for one would choose hard difficulty from the start.
