Well, the scientific process would try to find any difference in variables from the before and after.
So a scientist would conclude that it would be the price cut that has lead to the recent sales trend.
My Wii is so old that some of the more complex new games don't work as well.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

It has to be the price cut...It's a little odd with a new console being announced, you'd would think people would avoid it for fear of it being phased out. |
Exactly what I was thinking. Plus the only big Wii game at E3 was Skyward Sword. Instead of buying a Wii I would just start to save up for the Nintendo U (or whatever its called).

I agree. IMO, it's kind of pointless to buy the Wii now, especially when Nintendo is releasing the Wii U next year & that it's backwards compatible with all Wii games & Gamecube games.

Sorry to disapoint you but i'm not. I couldn't care less how much Wii sells. But going from selling nothing to topping PS3.....something besides $50 is in play. |
Well no, it isn't.
Price cut. But it's effect won't last THAT long. Maybe in another few weeks it will drop down to second. It can't withhold the PS3 for that long

It's still more than a year left. It is a long time to wait if you want to play Wii games now.
