Replacement vita acquired, the greyish cover around my triangle . square etc buttons is slightly misaligned and I can see a tiny sliver of the inside of the vita up near the front camera but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything. So far so good with everything else working but I'm giving it a week before I can call all clear.

Rayman origins demo is filled with win and omfg I love the mutant blob game so much. Thanks to everyone who recommended it here. Motorstorm DLC will probably be got whenever it works it's way to the NA store.

I'm very glad to hear that your situation got resolved so quickly. And yep Mutant Blob attack is awesome! And according to Sony it's one of their best sellers too :D fantastic stuff

the DLC is said to be released tonight with the store update

and I think I will buy Unit 13 early next month!

am I the only one who didn't care for unit 13? it wasn't BAD by any means, but I don't see why everyone has fallen in love with it other than the obligatory "ohmahgawditsatwinstickshooteronahandheld!" angle.

Mostly, it's because Unit 13 is the first TPS I've played on a handheld that legitimately played and felt like a current gen console shooter.

Maybe that's not entirely true since Golden Abyss had me in full Drake's Fortune flashback mode, but Unit 13 fully convinced me that TPS and most likely FPS games can be developed for the PSV with nothing lost in translation.

Other than that, it's a SOCOM style TPS; nothing new, just designed to be played in smaller segments that are well suited to portable gaming.
