Profit is down 56%, but it wasn't as bad as they thought. They had forecast a loss, but Shin Hayarigami sold above expectations and all business performed well.
Next year NIS will do much better with Disgaea 5 releasing =D
Man Im hyped for D5

Good. Maybe they'll localize it now.
Thinking about getting Freedom Wars today. Any reasons not to?

Why does every one seem to think any Action RPG from Japan now is a Monster Hunter clone? Hell, people even call Phantasy Star Online a "Mon Hun" game even though it came out in 2000 and is nothing of the sort. It's practically like calling any game with guns a Halo clone. |
I have been able to convince 2-3 friends of mine to pick up the game when they previously knew nothing about it. They all seem pretty satisfied with it now. It drives me nuts when people say Vita has no games or that oh they are just clones of *insert game here*.
What I am curious about is what is on offer for Vita next year. Hopefully more Japanese goodness.

Only one: because you should have gotten it a week ago.

If your buying it for the story, dont =(
Unless they plan on making a part 2 that finishes the story then it kind of just ends and your left wondering, feels like it was rushed out and they just chopped of the ending. Otherwise its a solid action rpg/ boss hunt game and if you really want to dedicate some time has a great weapon customisation system.

If you are easily annoyed by restrictive behavior until you advance further in the game.......stay away from FW. If you can cope with the fact that FW's restrictive nature is part of it's mythos and challenge, then please buy NOW!!!!
And when I say restrictive, I am talking about the fact that you are penalized for just about everything until you finally earn enough entitlements for more freedom. You can't run more than 20 meters away from your Accessory. You can't insta travel(till later on). You can't talk to fellow Sinners, Citizens, and ESPECIALLY oppossite sex until you have proper authorization. You can NEVER idle in conversations when making choices. Last but not least, you are not permitted to sleep laying down until the Ponopticon fucking says you can :P hahahaha.
Gameplay wise, the game is ace. The controls take a bit getting use to but you can also find a template set-up that suits you best (like 6 different options). Taking down Abductors piece by piece is super satisfying. Zipping around battlefields with your Thorn lasso is the business. And when you have a good team of people and you watch them lay onlslaught on a big baddy in minutes.............so guuuuud.
Why haven't you bought this damn game already, GO!!!!
