Hmmm... nope. That looks like it's probably one of the better deals out there at the moment. |
Too bad it's marked Online Only on Gamestop's website, and I'm gonna need local adress and credit card for that. Can I still find some at their own shops across NY ?

Just saw that XSeed isn't going to localize Valhalla Knights 3 OHMAIGORUDO, so next time they drop the price feel free to pounce on it with no regrets (or maybe a few regrets, depending on whether or not your taste in games is as bad as mine).

Yeah. I saw that post and I'm still kinda skeptical. Will be likely now, but I can definitely see why they wouldn't want to release it too.
Welp, I predicted correctly that the game XSEED was teasing (Akiba's Trip) took place in Akihabara...if only I knew more about obscure japanese games I would've been able to predict the game .-.
Since Double Eleven is porting PixelJunk to the Vita?PS4, can they work with other studios to port more PSN games to the Vita? Sure it won't sell Vitas but who will complain about more games? I also feel like PSN games are meant to be Vita game, I don't why, I just do.
Also, what is a Visual Novel game? I'm hearing good things about Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc but I don't understand what Visual Novel is or how will you play it.
And finally, what is Akiba's Trip? I'm sorry for asking these questions, I've never bothered to play a Japanese game on PS2 or PS3 and now that I have and played P4G, I'm getting an interest in those type of games.

Double Eleven will be doing plenty of PSN porting over the next few years, I would imagine. They've already done Pixeljunk Monsters and Frozen Synapse. They signed a multi-game deal regarding Pixeljunk a while ago:
Regarding visual novels, they're exactly as they sound - stories told visually. Danganronpa is a bit different because there's a lot more gameplay involved. DR is a murder mystery game where you have to search for clues and then come to a conclusion about who the killer is with your fellow classmates. It's very good and well worth your time.
Akiba's Trip is like Yakuza except with stripping instead. Or to put it in possibly more relatable terms, it's a brawling game where the brawling is like WWE except it's set in a district in Japan and you have to strip vampires to expose them to sunlight and kill them. And it looks great!

I see, sounds intertesting. Hopefully I can get into these games. I'm still grasping the whole Japanese gaming culture I would say. The only reason I love playing P4G is probably because I played Fate (PC game) which pretty much has the same formula. And since I mentioned Fate, I will definitely love to see it on the Vita.
Speaking of visual novels, which ones other than DanganRonpa, Zero Escape, and The Walking Dead are considered good/great. I need something to tide me over until DR2 comes out.

There really aren't many available on consoles/handhelds. The Hakouki series is good, but aimed at girls.
There are, of course, some on PC.
