Holy shit. Maybe not.

Seriously, I think this comparison is meaningless. Vita TV, is just an expansion of a small 5" for a game that has less than 4Gb. While we don't want to talk about ps3 version.

The game should look awesome once it comes at hand.

And Digimon is looking awesome for a game in early development stage. I mean they still got 1+ year before release, they can do wonders.

On the Vita vs. PS3 comparison for Final Fantasy X HD: I think that they are basically equivalent. PS3 version looks like it has more vivid colours and more contrast, but I suspect this will be compensated by Vita's OLED screen, which is known to emphatize contrast and render the colours with excellent saturation, while a normal TV screen normally can't...

Anyway, SquareEnix confirms itself as the master of 3D graphics, as seen also in Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns... If only they could invent gameplay on par with Falcom and Atlus (or the opposite; if such mid sized software houses could count on SquareEnix talent and assets) then we'd have the perfect game.

Wow... its gotta be... Finally... the killer app for the vita. An exclusive (for consoles) portable sized MMO.

This is one of the 3 games that got me to buy a Vita. Cmon SEGA... shows us that there is still a bit of that old SEGA still in there.

There is a huge difference in texture quality.

I wouldn't really say the Vita's OLED screen has "excellent saturation", more like complete over-saturation that will compensate for the washed out image you see on a properly calibrated screen.

Search for "ffx lang:ja" on twitter! Vitabros wil really like what they will see and read!

also, according to some tweets. vita versions of ffx has sold out in some stores. that is really a good sign. hope squeenix will restock soon

XSeed puts SCEA to shame really...I mean both Shinovi Vs and AkibaStrip2? 'slow clap'

Yeah, XSeed and Japan Studio are basically the only ones keeping alive the Vita.

What's SCEA and SCEE answer? PS Vita Pets and Infamous Vita. :(

SCEE have done plenty for Vita.  Two of the three big first party games this year were from SCEE (Tearaway and Killzone).  They provided WipEout & LittleBigPlanet in the first year on the market.  And yes, they throw in some casual friendly stuff like Smart As & PlayStation Vita Pets sometimes too.  Because sometimes it doesn't hurt to try and expand the scope of your machine.

Plus a lot of the indie explosion we've seen over the past year has been down to Shahid's work (Hotline Miami; Proteus; Stealth Inc.; Velocity Ultra; Pixeljunk Monsters HD etc.).

You can rag on SCEA all you want because I think they deserve it, they've been completely neglecting Vita after its first year other than porting their HD Collections to it.  But I think it's unfair to have a go at SCEE because, as things are, they've done their fair share.

Hey Vitabros. Very anecdotal but I've just been around town today and checked out my local game shops. The Vita sections have been obliterated! GAME only had 4 different titles left in stock. (They had 20ish before Christmas) so looks like there are quite a lot of new vita owners out there.

CEX only had uncharted virtua tennis and a couple of others too.

Hopefully 2014 may bring a much brighter future.
