Have we... won?

:)

Anyway, now that normal service has been resumed, does anyone know if now that FFXHD is coming out in Vita at the same time as the PS3 version, is there going to be a physical release in the west?

As per last report, no announcement yet. I may opt out to get the PS3 version because its already 2 games for the price of one. Unless they bundle the Vita version together and not sell X/X-2 individually.

Thanks, I'm trying to make the same decision, difference is I don't have a PS3 yet, though that may change just after Xmas. I could still be tempted to go Vita thoughi if there isn't much difference between platforms though

I personally I would go for Bravely, Actually I'm thinking to buy a 3DS next year to play sollely Bravely Default, nothing more.. I think is better to support this type of thing from Square-Enix, instead of porting of old glories... (not that this is bad) but as one of the few good things from Sq-Ex in the last years, I'll support Bravely first... and FFX/x-2 in due time...

I know, I'm also hoping to get a 3DS eventually, I was watching some Let's Plays of Soul Hackers and SMTIV and I really want to play them both. SMT had better come out in EU...

Would prefer new GTA game for the vita instead, well a gta game like the ones released on the ps2 and psp and not like the ps3 games. Oh well i signed anyways.

Energy Hook looks really good, but i hope they would add a story, world lore, characters and i really dont mind if they added some enemies here and there to break a repetitive flow.

I don't really think a new GTA will be in the cards with the current install base,so any game from Rockstar will be a big deal at this point.

And please spread it to various sites/forums etc.

Upcoming notable indies for PS Vita:

The only way they'd get GTA on Vita now is if Sony funded the entire development of it.

Energy Hook was not what I was expecting. I was expecting it to be a 2D side scroller or something hahah.

I don't think they'll put enemies in, tbh given that it's meant to be a "world sport" I don't think there'll be any enemies etc in it. It does look like it's going to be a combination of checkpoint races, stunts and hidden secrets though. I'll certainly be keeping an eye on it. Definitely feeling the JSR vibe which is only a good thing :D

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Rockstar Games should port GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, LCS and VCS to the Vita, not only one of them.

They all use the same engine, so the portation costs should sink on average for every additional title. They could offer a retail compilation with all 5 games for $50... even more as a Collector's Edition with some additional stuff.

And in the PSN they could offer the titles individually... for example $9.99 - $14.99 each for GTA3 HD, Vice City HD + San Andreas HD and $6.99 - $9.99 each for LCS HD + VCS HD. The whole digital package a bit lower than the individual games seperately.

That would be absolutely awesome. In fact, I'd buy every single GTA they've ever made if they ported it on Vita

To tell the truth, recently I got the impression that Rockstar is actually still looking at Vita and analysing this idea. Sony is doing a good job reminding them about the platform. Why? Some time ago there was a GTA sale on PSN, now we got LCS on PS+. This is proof that Sony is reminding Rockstar about the platform and is also kind of a gauge of interest. I think we can expect a GTA on Vita, hopefully it'll come in 2014. I can see Rockstar dedicating this year to a PC/PS4/XO port of GTA5 and to a Vita project. Hopefully we'll get both all these ports and a new San Andreas Stories game. That would turn Vita into one hell of a console for me

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Strange thing is that Rockstar even hasn't considered porting the ps2 Gta's for ps360(they'd sell overall more than 10mio copies combined) therefore i would be hard to convince them to port these games to vita

rainbow moon is cross buy right? why does it say i have the trail version yet when i go to "unlock full game" it takes me to the store where it says "free" "download" and when i check my trophys rainbow moon isn't there (so it must mean i have the trial version)

I really hope the Vita version holds up.

@ chevy

it is not crossbuy-you'll get some huge discount (ca.60-70% i guess() if you buy it.

They messed it up in the EU Store as there is just a trial but not a buy option, even not inside the game. You'll be just directed to the wrong page again

to buy rainbow moon you'll have to use the search option "rainbow moon" and than click (i think)the first "rainbow moon" you see.

i don't know why they haven't fixed it already as it is hurting sales for sure.
