Really? PEople STILL care about Dragonball Z?

I used to be a huge fan, but then I grew up and realized how shallow and needlessly convoluted it was, just so it could claim a billion episodes or whatever. I know the 'haters' all jump on the "three episodes of charging up" bandwagon and it's as easy a target s the RRoD, but it's true! That show could have been great if it ended at the end of the Frieza saga, and they didn't waste so much goddamn time taunting, charging, and grunting at one another. 26 episodes is all that show needed.

And the games aren't all that great, from what I played. SNES games, Budokai, and two of the Budokai Tenkaichi games, and they were all shallow and boring.

I just don't get why this series is STILL popular.

This will probably come as news to it just as it did to me a couple of months back.

They actually made a completely new Dragon Ball Z movie with a new super sayan transformation (super sayan god) that also expanded the universe of Dragon ball. Dragon ball Z seems set to be making a comeback, wether its more movies or a new series.

No other anime series could match it in popularity afterall. Its a wonder it took them this long to make more.

It better because I have been defending this move in another thread against a person who I am having trouble understanding.

My trust in Shahid is below zero.

I trust the fantranslators more, and this is the news, for me: Valkirya Chronicles 3 English patch could be out for Christmas:

I still have a sealed copy. I have zero issue breaking out my PSP for this.

OK, so finally Y's Celceta has been finally and offically dated for Europe too, and it's February 21 for physical, and four days later for download in PS Store. No official pricing has been communicated.

http://www.nisamerica.com/index.php?nav=n&article=pbomb/PrinnyBomb_Vol414.html

Also, I noticed that Atlus America is giving away download codes for free on twitter.

WHY IS EVERYTHING RELEASING AT THE SAME TIME!?

Seriously, fucking everything I want is coming in February/March.  Now I've got to prioritize and pick them up slowly.

Ys > Atelier > Lightning Returns.  By the time I'm done with all of those, Demon Gaze should be out.

Looks like Danganronpa will have to wait.

P.S. Shahid will let us all down, but I'm still pinning all my hopes on it being Tales of Hearts :(

Isn't Toukiden out in March too? and then there's Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. So yeah, they love the Valentines month. lol!

Toukiden looks about as much fun as a punch in the balls, though (sorry, hunting games fans!)

I had forgotten about Symphonia Chronicles though.  DAMMIT TIFFAC, NOW I HAVE TO MAKE A NEW PRIORITY LIST.

I actually think Toukiden looks great and I hate Mon Hunter more than most people. Buying Mon Hun Tri on Wii was the biggest purchasing mistake I made last gen.

Soul Sacrifice was a game I was a bit apprehensive about due to my experiences with Monster Hunter, but yeah... love that game does so many things right and is so much more instantly accessible than Monster Hunter.

This whole "hunting" genre is bullshit and doesn't exist. Soul Sacrifice, Toukiden etc are actually action RPGs that happen to have a big fuck off monster involved. Phantasy Star Online was pre Monster Hunter, and now is considered a "hunting" game, but yeah, it really isn't.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
