And some soon to come AAA digital/indie offerings with Rainbow Moon Vita and Doki Doki.

Color me very much satisfied with Vita this holiday. Sony's visibility for the system may suck, but they definitely are suporting it.

I have also noticed more ppl coming into the store looking for Vita's of late. I've started to sell it as "A tablet like device with strong gaming capabilities" angle and it seems to be working.

Kind of playing it fast and loose with the application of the phrase "AAA" there.

Well to me AAA just meed highest quality grade. Most often done by a studio with caliber. To me at least.....these are definitely the highest grade Vita titles this holiday and I find them to be a really good bunch.

lol-they even gave her the original  asics sneakers!

Though as woman it is more of Uma Thurman or Diana Rigg who has been working a similar suit in the" Avengers"

Technically, the term "AAA" denotes an high BUDGET product, not an high QUALITY one.

I'm saying this not to ignite a discussion, but to clarify the objective meaning of this term in the marketing jargoon. Unfortunately, there's plenty of examples of AAA games whose quality turned out to be mediocre. I'm sure you can make examples by yourselves. ;)

In the ned this ignite the discussion... I don't think that AAA games are only high bugedt games, some games of high profile and well marketed can be AAA. in this generation there have been a lot of "AAA Games" in that sense, lot of budgets wasted on publicity instead on programing and design...

but there are games that are AAA because the brand wich produce it or publish it... or the title of the game it self... Like COD or Nintendo games... and Rockstar games too...

So I think there are those tree type of AAA games, plus some exceptions that became AAA because the support of the people.. the clearer case of this is Demon's Soul... the mouth to mouth gave the game a status of "classic" and gave its successor a AAA status automatically... but is not a game of high budget, marketing or anything...

Rigth now, Persona and Tales of are franchises that are in process of becoming AAA, reference games... some other just become like that  by luck.. like Monster hunter and some games lost this status.. like final fantasy..

That's what i think after thinking a little...

So yeah, I'm gonna get Blazblue this Monday. Also, Tearaway and Ys for Christmas.
