I think it's a very bad time to release a game. So many other heavy hitters coming the same day, two new consoles launched, Iota got blown away... It should have been released a month earlier. Now we can just hope for Europe doing better and hope for some legs.

I suppose it was a gamble, one the one hand it may have been lost under next gen hype, on the other enough adverts and promotional materials whilst visibilty of the PlayStation brand was high might have helped it. It does seem like the first outcome is what actually happened though.

There is some hope though, KZ has been showing alright legs in spite of a weak FW here on Vgchartz and given that Vita is currently having more success in Europe, you're right to say it may do better here (then again, who really knows?). There's also digital, I just hope we get concrete numbers on this from Sony (don't know if they actually do this though)

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been looking at the Vita sales stuff for a few weeks and it's obviously a really key time for the console - will the remote play message catch on? will tearaway / god eater / ys / final fantasy sell systems?

With the Tearaway bundle and the Black Friday Amazon Bundle comfortably in the top 100 on the Amazon bestseller chart in the UK and the USA respectively, do you guys think that the Vita is in the process of racking up sustained growth week on week or is this just a temporary boost?

Still need to get Tearaway, I've so many PS Plus games to play though.

even with PS4 remote play and the great games it receives Vita will always be a niche console, I cant see it selling 40m LT. However some big profile games and PS4 bundling should be a nice boost to the system even if they are short lived. Look at what a bad CoD game did, imagine if we could then get games withbig names behind them and actually be made well. Like that Bioshock Vita that will never happen, if that came out with an 85+ meta it would be huge for Vita

I'm just back from my store and the owner said he'll get me a copy of Persona 4 Golden on Wednesday!! Yay!! ^_^
