Congratulations! Awesome bundle, incredible game (though I've only played the demo, I already love it). The game is a unique adventure, exhales charm, creativity and good vibes.

Oh and Gravity Rush... I'm thankfull for this game (and PS Vita) because it reignited my gaming interest and actually reached a whole new, higher, level.

So many unique games ! The Vita and 3DS complement each other really well !

Sounds great ! It really does look charming and the comparisons to Mario 64 make me giddy.

...and then there is the MGS collection....and Toukiden....and Gravity Rush

so many games :D !

Hello.  Obligatory new member initiation:

Good choice of games to be starting off the system with.  MGS is a great port and Gravity Rush is great.  I have heard fantastic things about Tearaway, too.

Consider buying LittleBigPlanet.  It's the bees knees and my second favourite Vita game so far.  My favourite is WipEout 2048, but I find it difficult to recommend because it's not for everyone (it's challenging; it's fast and fantastic.  But it just doesn't seem to click for some people).

Check out Guacamelee; Hotline Miami and Super Stardust Delta for downloadable titles.  Also, grab Rymdkapsel off PSM (if it's available in your country) while it's free.

Thanks for all the great recommendations !

One question about Lillte Big Planet: Did they change the jumping physics after the fist game ? The fist game felt....off to me (maybe I´m just too used to Mario´s controls and haven´t given it a proper chance), but the presentation was outstanding (the narrator was incredibly charming)

It is dirt cheap here (15 Euros on Amazon.de) so I will buy it regardless :D !

The rest is already on the list !

Kind of funny that Tearaway´s fantastic impressions and vaguely hearing about Dangan Ronpa beeing similar to Ace Attorney pushed me over the edge !

Thanks in advance !

@Huii

If you want a "soft impact" with Japanese, I'd go for an intuitive tactical game or a rhythm game. This way, you have some Japanese text and dialogues to sustain the story, but with obvious gameplay regardless of your language knowledge. I'd surely avoid visual novels, but also JRPGs, where you might have to fashion out what to do following obscure suggestions given in dialogues... Sadly, I don't know what kind of Vita JRPGs are safe or not, from this point of view.

@NesFe

I guess God Eater 2 Vita did really well through digital downloads. Luckily for all of us, it looks like Famitsu is going to publish digital sales charts every month, starting January 2014.

Finally, Neptunia Noir graphics look adorable, but after playing some Disgaea I discovered that this kind of games are not for me...

I think they tightened Little Big Planet up a bit after the first one. It's much more weildley than the first one was. However some of the "jump" issue is actually to do with motion. If you're on a platform that's already raising, it lets you jump higher because you already have motion. A sinking platform you can't jump as high.

Tearaway is absolutely amazing. Definitely currently up there for my GOTY (on any format). It really is reminiscent of the wow factor that I got playing N64 games like Banjo Kazooie back in the late 90s. No game since the 32 bit era has really managed to strike that chord with me so I'm very happy.

Just waiting for my PS4 to be delivered. got a 12:58-13:58 delivery slot so should be here in a couple of hours :D

Btw did anyone see this?

Would explain why all those places suddenly started stocking Vita consoles again. If they're bundling mega packs with a PS4 for only £150 extra that's a seriously good deal for buying a system on the high street!

Ultimate bundle seems sensible, makes vita more visible by associating it even more closely with PS4 and if people buy one because it's the only way they can get a PS4 then that won't hurt. Hopefully after a while retailers are able to drop the price - I don't expect them to match Xbone at £430 for a while, but given the greater potential to cut the price of PS4 faster than the Bone and the rumoured price cut next year with Vita2k, I think that day will come eventually XD

Also, does anyone know what the situation with the Muramasa Rebirth DLC in Europe is? I'd like to import a USA copy so I can have it physically, but the extras are supposed to be substantial and I don't want to miss out, especially as I'd already be paying a fair bit more on the import

I talked to the Sony customer service and retrieved my account back. It was really easy, in case you need help for something don't hesitate to ask them, they are really helpful. Played a bit of Tearaway for celebration.

Nice, glad you've sorted it. Reminds me I'm still technically locked out of my XBL account, but to be honest I just can't be arsed - my Gold sub has lapsed and I don't have any games on 360 I'd play online, so I just made a new offline one when I picked up Bayonetta recently (need to finish it though, didn't get very far)

This year is going to have an interesting top 5 games, for me. The year is nearly over, and I know 4 of my entries (in no particular order):

Guacamelee
Rayman Legends

The Legend of Zelda: a Link Between Worlds
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Still leaving room for one more up there; given the review scores, will probably be Super Mario 3D World. Two of those games are Vita games. One is a 3DS game. Grand Theft auto V was good but I bot bored of it before it finished; Bioshock Infinite was pretty great and I loved it, but these other games outdo it for me.

This Year I have been playing almost only PSVita games.. for PS3, ni No Kuni and bioshock Infinite meet my expectations.. The Last of Us too.. but I didn't have great expectations to begin, so was Ok for Me... the ame with GOW Ascension, was good, nothing more...

But on Vita i have been playing a lot.. and Guacamelee is one of those games I adored..

My list would include Soul Sacrifice (yeah, I love this direct-to-the-climax action RPG XD), Dead or Alive 5+ (a shame it didn't included Tag battle mode nor updated to ULTIMATE :/ but a great fighting game), dragon's crown... just.. just..the mage XD..

waiting to play Muramasa, rayman legends, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, Ys Celceta and The Walking Dead, most of these Im buying today for chep :) but probably will be in my hands nextyear (last month import things is a hell, most things come nextyear, But I can wait :)

Thanks. That is not option for me, I have lots, and lots of games in there. Vita games, PS3 games etc. and all the games I got from PS+.

By the way I've got a 12 months PS+ card for just 30$. That is crazy. Thinking about buying 5 more :).
