Honestly a bunch of indie games and a PS3 port are NOT going to drive hardware sales. Nobody is going to spend $200 in a console that promotes games people already have played or already own in a different platform. Also, I don't see anybody buying a console that gets 2-3 AAA games per year. 

The Vita almost doesn't have exclusive content and the the cross-buy and remote play functions are transforming the console into an expensive peripheral for the PS4. 

Hate so say it but the Vita is the worst failure in Playstation's history, and that's a shame because it's an incredible piece of hardware. 


You know, I think something similar was commonly said around the PS3 vs Wii.

We see how that turned out...

Well, I'm confident that Indie games are going to drive a lot of software sales, but sadly hardware sales will continue to be low.

No. What I said is pretty much the same thing people said around the PSP vs NDS. And we all know which one sold more hardware.

Also, consider this: In the PS3 era Sony put all their efford in making games for it, and they let the PSP abandoned. This generation is exactly the same. Sony is focusing on PS4 and Vita is getting abandoned.

Well, I always said that MH was going to be on Vita in some form. Didn't expect Frontier to hit like 5 platforms though.
