I stopped at Best Buy after work and they had the 8gb cards for sale. Nothing else, no other accessories or memory cards, just the 8g. It looked lonely lol

Still not great, infact I would say it is pretty bad. We need the Japanese PSN pricing structure. Really not liking SCEA right now. 

not the best I agree and won't change my mind to go all digital either..I will still stick to physical. But this is still better than earlier reports of no discount for Golden Abyss in the west

Also on other rather amusing news, I read that IGN's Nintendo podcast went on a bashing spree on Golden Abyss >_> and have said it only has two locations

and the funniest thing is this

it is CONFIRMED by those who have played the game it has more than two locations

and

IGN even got those locations wrong

the amount of blind hate and fud spreading with this launch is mind boggling..then again I expect no less from places like IGN

I would love to go all digital without Sony download limit on games or pricing of the memory cards. (Similar to Steam)

I already decided to stick to physical mostly with the Vita, because it seems no real benefit from going digital in the west due to pricing structure. (Steam deals, that happen every summer and winter)

Yes I know I shouldn't compare everything to steam, but that is really the only time I embraced digital only as a viable option. (Also the fact that PC packaging is very stupid at times....and my collection of PC titles look awful because of it.)

I really like the Vita, but i'm having a hard time with laying down the amount of cash for it. The system itself of 249.99 isn't the issue, but a 16GB card, a case, screen covers, and a game makes that price go astronomical. I don't know if i'm willing to toss that much down for just 1 game. I love Uncharted but it isn't a Final Fantasy game for me.

yesh steam really has set the benchmark for these things now..hopefully sony will improve with time on this front..

It is understandable, it is the same reason I am not getting it either. Given switch Uncharted with Gravity Daze for me. Plus I have games in March that I need to buy. 

well unless you are going all digital, 16gb will be overkill imo. I'm gonna start with the start up pack which included a 4gb card, cleaning cloth, protective film and earphones (all around 30 bucks) ..I will buy a bigger mem card later on but since I'm going physical meda route mainly I doubt I will need one soon. and besides Type-0 is definitely coming to vita..the question is when!
