For the one, like me that don't give a fuck about Otaku game and that were intersted in seeing mark of the ninja ported on the vita, Klei talked about it on their twitter.

All games getting mentioned in this thread. It's a all around positivity thread about new things coming to Vita. Right now, a ton of Japanese games are being announced and localized, so that's the news. No need to be sassy.

I am not Sassy. But just so you know my point of view and why i'm reacting this way, I'll explain what I think.

First, I would like to say that I follow this thread for a long time now, even prior to become a member. Since the 1000th page (When a lot of us quit caring about the vita ), 80% of the overall reaction are linked to Otaku games.

Right know the vita does not sell very well. That's a given.

1. You are seriousely thinking that those games will help the vita ? Here in Europe we do not give a single shit about those games. We hate them, those game are similar to bad taste for us. I know that's evil, but the most of us mock hard the people playing it. Only a very few player like those game in the Europe. I am only 23years old but I am a well known member from the shoryuken and Arlong park forum, I think I'm familiar with the US community. The same goes from the Us Cmnty. They do not care about those games, they mock them.

2. Only Japan weirdos and a very few other people care about those kind of games. And I do not think Sony will struggle with japan the most since playstation is already the most appreciated console name.

I have a Vita right know, I love it. I find it a fantastic device. And I want it to be the realm of good taste and Dream-level selection of games. I want it, and you all want it. You wall want it because it will make people have a good opinion on the vita, and you all know this is the only way to make the Vita a success.

- Hotline miami is what ? Maybe the best indie title from those last 6days ? The reaction are almost speaking from one voice about this game. With three pixels and simple as fuck gameplay, this game put shame on most AAA titles. This game is on the vita.
- Guacamelee is one of the best plateformer we've seen from a long time now and the artistic direction is excellant. This game is on the vita.
- Rayman origins looks fucking tasty on the vita, on top of being a very good game, acclaimed by almost everyone.
- Flower is a game everyone should cherish deep. This game will be on the Vita soon.

3. This is the kind of game I want and this kind of game we should all ask for. I want dream-level experience. Games that make the genre go ahead, move forward. Games that scream good taste. Games that redefine the experience. Games that make the Vita looks cool, mind expending...  Otaku game are clearly not. I know you won't agree with me since you like those game very much, and I do not want to push my thought further. I do not want to hurt anyone. But this is my thought and if you're a bit objective, you should know it too.

4. One last thing I would like to say and you are entirely free to not believe me. Here it is, If I know something from my young experience it is that everytime Otaku are present by a large margin on any kind of plateform, not only video game kind of plateform, this is the begining of the end. It may sound harsch and cruel toward people who like those game and I'm sorry for them, but it is clearly what I've seen. Otaku are not good for a plateform, critical acclaim is.

5. That's why my teeth are gnashing each time I see someone being happy about an otaku game being ported on the vita.

6. Do not get me wrong, I like Japan culture. I'm a fan of their architecture design, I respect their philosophy, I consider Samurai Champloo the best animated show of all time, Death note one of my best reading... I have strictly nothing against japanese culture. But Otaku culture is maybe the worst Japan have. I've been to Japan, I've played street fighter 3 third strike and Tekken with the most well known Japan player in Japan. I've takled to Wata, Mago, I'm even friend with Eita. Even them feel ashame about otaku culture.

7. Here is why I may look sassy. I am not sassy, I am worried about the future of the best handheld ever made.

I was turning your condescening statement into a joke. Now you're just being a dick.

1. I don't really care what will "help" the Vita. I just want more games I'm interested in. If it boosts sales, then yays all around. I also hope you realize how most people mock the fighting game community and how those games do not sell very well or push hardware. Not to mention that you're literally one niche vs. another niche.

2. Your worldview is far too limited if you honestly believe this. Especially considering that what you claim to be a fan of sells even worse than the games that appearently only weirdos like.

3. I feel like you're either blind, hypocritical, or both. Firstly, none of the games will sell a lot or push any hardware. While they are good games, they're not the mass appeal stuff that can sell systems. Each of those has been discussed and mentioned very frequently. I'd also really like if you didn't assume so much about your fellow posters. You've fit me into a label or niche that I really don't fit in.

4. These are mutually exclusive things. Persona 4 Golden is one of the best sellings and certainly has the most critical acclaim. I'm really struggling how you're able to draw these conclusions.

5. People like things. Deal with it. Most of the time, these games are fun and well made. If you don't care for that genre or game type, so what? People should only play what you find acceptable?

6. I'd really like an example of what you're talking about here, because I hope we're having some miscommunication. What games are you talking about specifically?

7. Getting more games announced for it will not hurt the future of the Vita (I can't believe I had to type this out)

You did not really discuss my point.

First, you do note care about what's being good for the vita. You said it clearly in your first point. And that is what you do not deserve a proper discussion with me about it.

Second, I did not make any assumption about you. But the way you respond to me clearly speak for you. You're an otaku player hurt by what I said. And I do not blame you for it, but in the first place I did not make any assumption.

About your "point" 1 and 2, where did I oppose FG community to Otak community ? I know the situation of fighting games and that's why I did not speak about them in my post. The only moment I bring them on the table is when I felt the need to speak about my experience and discussion shared with japanese people.

I know you're probably hurt, but do not make me say what I did not say. I do play fighting games, but I'm also objective, and that's the main reason why I did not say that more fighting games would be good for the vita. Only powerhouse fighting games ( Tekken and Street fighter ), or really good ones are needed on the vita.

Your point 7 is utterly false. Make, let's say 50% of the game announced Otaku labeled game and  we'll see where the vita will be going. Do not get it false please, getting more quality games announced is a good thing.

About the rest, all the things I said earlier speak for it already.

If I remember correcly for example RE1-2-3 bundle says works only on ps3, but the three games are sold separately on the ps vita store, maybe they forget things XD
Also about Plus it sill says "subscribe for plus and get a lot of extras for PS3!" They forgot PS Vita Existed XD

Good Luck!

Thanks for the help man.  I think I'm just gonna take a gamble and try it :)

Ah Man Fare Wars, always wanted to try that. Loved Crazy Taxi 1 on Dreamcast and kind of miss it now! Though did they have to change the music ala the HD remake on PS3? Crazy Taxi without Offspring just isn't Crazy Taxi

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I really hope this is just a elaborate troll post.

2. You did make an assumption about me. You said that anyone interested in "those otaku games" (which I asked you to list, and you've yet to do so) is a Japan weirdo and later implied that anyone who enjoys "those games" have bad taste. Also, nothing you can say or do can "hurt" me, my feelings, or change at all the games I enjoy.

Pretty please show how my 7th point is utterly false? In the past month, less than 10 Japanese games have been announced for Vita. Even if you were ridiculous enough to label these all as weird, otaku games, that's still a small percentage of the total number of Vita games available. And to repeat myself, further, a game that appeals to a small userbase should be immediately equated with low quality. A quality title has absolutely nothing to do with its genre or intended audience.

and no, you haven't spoke for everything already. You gave gaping holes in just about everything you've said. I'm also curious to see where in Europe you're from, because while your English isn't bad, it's definitely not your first language (and I complement you on debating in a second language. I can't imagine doing that at all).

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

It's late in France so I'm going to bed now. I'll respond tomorrow.

So, I took a gamble (since SEGA's track record with Vita-compatible games is good so far):

I can confirm that Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars is compatible in the UK.  You can't buy the game from the Vita store, but if you buy it from a PS3 (and I presume if you bought it using the web store on PC too) then you can download the game directly to Vita, no need to transfer it.

Was kinda surprised that it worked actually and I think in future I might try it with a few other games that aren't listed as compatible.

As a side note, the game is pretty awesome so far.  There's some pop in and the framerate isn't always great, but having one of my favourite arcade games of all time on the go with me is just awesome.  And there's a whole other game (Crazy Taxi 2) thrown in that I've never played before!  All for £3.69, too.

http://gematsu.com/2013/07/god-eater-2-has-gintama-costumes

There will be a collaboration between namco and gintama for God Eater 2... some customes from Kagura and gintoki will be available on the demo (and on the final game) that release this July 25th in Japan... seems like some other collaborations like this will be announced later before the release of the final game...

DoYou Want DOZENS OF NO GAEMZ?! then... Visit the Official PlayStation Vita Tread

Its an odd colaboration given God Eater is an RPG dealing with death and loss and Gintama is a comedy. It doesnt exactly mesh together but oh well... not like we would have it here aswell if the game gets localised.
