I was turning your condescening statement into a joke. Now you're just being a dick. 1. I don't really care what will "help" the Vita. I just want more games I'm interested in. If it boosts sales, then yays all around. I also hope you realize how most people mock the fighting game community and how those games do not sell very well or push hardware. Not to mention that you're literally one niche vs. another niche. 2. Your worldview is far too limited if you honestly believe this. 3. I feel like you're either blind, hypocritical, or both. Firstly, none of the games will sell a lot or push any hardware. While they are good games, they're not the mass appeal stuff that can sell systems. Each of those has been discussed and mentioned very frequently. I'd also really like if you didn't assume so much about your fellow posters. You've fit me into a label or niche that I really don't fit in. 4. These are mutually exclusive things. Persona 4 Golden is one of the best sellings and certainly has the most critical acclaim. I'm really struggling how you're able to draw these conclusions. 5. People like things. Deal with it. Most of the time, these games are fun and well made. If you don't care for that genre or game type, so what? People should only play what you find acceptable? 6. I'd really like an example of what you're talking about here, because I hope we're having some miscommunication. What games are you talking about specifically? 7. Getting more games announced for it will not hurt the future of the Vita (I can't believe I had to type this out) |
You did not really discuss my point.
First, you do note care about what's being good for the vita. You said it clearly in your first point. And that is what you do not deserve a proper discussion with me about it.
Second, I did not make any assumption about you. But the way you respond to me clearly speak for you. You're an otaku player hurt by what I said. And I do not blame you for it, but in the first place I did not make any assumption.
About your "point" 1 and 2, where did I oppose FG community to Otak community ? I know the situation of fighting games and that's why I did not speak about them in my post. The only moment I bring them on the table is when I felt the need to speak about my experience and discussion shared with japanese people.
I know you're probably hurt, but do not make me say what I did not say. I do play fighting games, but I'm also objective, and that's the main reason why I did not say that more fighting games would be good for the vita. Only powerhouse fighting games ( Tekken and Street fighter ), or really good ones are needed on the vita.
Your point 7 is utterly false. Make, let's say 50% of the game announced Otaku labeled game and we'll see where the vita will be going. Do not get it false please, getting more quality games announced is a good thing.
About the rest, all the things I said earlier speak for it already.

Especially considering that what you claim to be a fan of sells even worse than the games that appearently only weirdos like.
