So is Harada talking about Tekken Rev on the vita? He can get bent then. I want a new solid entry for the franchise on the vita. He has put the franchise on almost every damn thing but not on the vita still. I held out buying Tekken Tag 2 in the hopes they will bring it to vita cuz last year they had a rumor about it. If they don't...I'm not gonna buy another tekken. There are other fighting franchises that deserve my money

Also it's pretty much confirmed that SCEJA will have a pre-tgs event....well most probably it's going to be 100% on the ps4 so meh

You know me, and you know I love the Vita...but it's hard to get excited for it when even its own creator doesn't seem even remotely interested in supporting it.  limitless potential, but no support.

I tend to respect Sony's hands-off policy to making people develop for their games, but I think in this instance they REALLY need to start paying people to make games for the Vita.

After finishing The Last of Us, I'm feeling the need to play more from Naughty Dog and I've never tried Jak and Daxter. I played Daxter on PSP, but it wasn't even developed by them (I liked it though).

Has anyone here bought the recently released Vita version on PS Store? I wanna know if the different games in the trilogy can be downloaded separately (you can on the PS3 version, apparently).

Just get the PS3 version...

Hey guys, something weird is going on with Muramasa Rebirth in my area... supposedly the street date has been lifted! But heres the weird part, I work at a local Best Buy and it seems that Best Buy just isn't going to carry the game since it's not in the systems.

So I went to Gamestop think I was going to pre-order it to make sure I got a copy (thinking the game didn't come out untill tuesday) and to see if by some miracle I could get the Limited edition. Thats when they told me that they lifted the street date and could sell copies of the game. The only problem was... THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT!!! and to make it worse they don't even Know if they'll have it by Tuesday. So now I have no clue when I can get the game :(

I'll probably cave and order on amazon even though I hate buying things online but this sucks.

How in the world does the one on the right look better than the one on the left.

Technically speaking the ones on the left looks better, of course. Primarly as a consequence of the Vita's higher resolution. Then, we also have real-time shadows reflected on the character models, the water's transparency, etc. which are absent in the PSP version. That isn't really shocking, afterall, the Vita is a much more powerful hardware!

That said, I prefer the ones on the right as I'm sure that the game was meant to look like those. Looking at the first comparison, the colors are more pleasant on PSP, and the overpopulation of herbs totally ruin the landscape on Vita (but "hey! we have enough power to put more plants, let's do it!").

In the second picture, I also prefer the simpler; opaque look of the water on PSP. The precarious shadow effect under the character's feet serves as a guide too! Honestly, on the Vita equivalent, I can't tell if those guys are standing over or underwater...

Probably something wrong with me, but I have the same feelings toward several "enhanced ports". The new Wind Waker for Wii U, for example... I prefer how the GC original looks!

I don't see how you can say that developers having to remove assets or just completely removing the bottom of a pond as an intended look. The PSP's colors are not more pleasant. It has bloom and other filters to make the lower resolution and bad models not look horrific. You also realize it's not an overpopulation of grass either. The area is supposed to be overgrown as evidence of a few leaves and bushes on the walkway. The PSP just had to cut out 70% of them.

Vita version also has shadows, so I don't get the shadows as a guide.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Ok, that does it, PS3 version is. I can't stand frame rate drops. Especially when we're talking about a port of a twelve year old game!

Plus, is seven dollars cheaper and I can download each game separately even if I buy the collection. I would have paid more to play a decent version on Vita, but Sony clearly doesn't care anymore, so I won't either.

I got mine ordered with Amazon. I guess if you want an LE, it's the only option available if local retailers aren't stocking them.

Naninho - Yeah PS3 ver is 60fps, Vita ver is about 20fps :/ I'm really enjoying it on Vita, but do wish it had the full frame rate!

Both PS3 and PSV versions are cross-buy (if you're getting the digital version).

No, they aren't. At least not in the American store.
