Playing through Tales of Graces at the moment, I would be more than happy with Tales of Hearts on Vita.

I mean sure, I yearn for Type-0 and I know it would shift more systems. But still. Tales of is a fantastic JRPG series and it'd be awesome to get those two games across.

Just finished Geyser Rock in the first game and I can tell the frame rate is just low enough that it doesn't run buttery smooth but its at least bearable. Haven't tried out the 2nd and 3rd game but I heard they run alot better.

Looks like a PS One game though.

IDK why but screenshot look awful compared to what you actually see whule playing. I'd say it just a bit better than the PS2 versions.

Just barely man. I read that the R2/L2 mapping are on the touchpad? Man, can't we have the Dark Jak thing be a touch screen thing?

Thanks man.  Do you mind keeping me updated with your thoughts on the game as you go through, particularly the performance?  I've played them all on PS2 so I just want to know how well they run on Vita.

Still, hearing that Jak 2 runs okay is promising.  Once the Collection drops to around £20 I suppose I'll invest; it'll be worth that to have Jak 2 on the go alone (it's easily my favourite of the trilogy).  I wonder if the game will ever get patched.

Kresnik you are better than this! Surely if £20.00 is worth it for Jak 2, the others are worth less than £2.00 each? :P

Anti-aliasing really hurts it on vita sadly. In the first game, touching the rear touch pad with 2 fingers brings up the HUD while in Jak 2 doing the whole piching thing like zooming in a a website on a touch phone  puts you in first person view. I only played the very begining of Jak 2 to see how it ran because I want to play them in order so I don't know if dark jak is mapped on the rear touch or not.

The fact that Type 0 and VC3 < Tales depresses me

These are PSP titles. Both Tales are Vita games and remakes of titles that have never come to the US. Easy to see why it won out.

I don't think his question was ever about vita titles alone. Just a general Q on what games, especially JRPGs we would like to see on the vita. Type 0 is one of the most requested games in recent years. Vita is easy to develop for so it won't be hard to port the game, or at least have a digital release. Personally I don't think either Tales of innocence or hearts is anywhere near as interesting as Type 0..or even VC3.

meh not like I expect anything to come out of it. I will believe it when I see it..but for now Shahid is just full of it

Asking a question here, is the 10 to 1 software attach ratio factoring in downloadable titles?

Like indies and such. I don't see how most people can buy 10 retail games within the span of a year and a half.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Well, no one knows, but it's highly likely that it does. I mean they're vita games too, so I don't see why not. The only thing that it probably doens't include is psone and maybe psp games as well.

Oh yeah it looks MUCH better on the Vita than that screenshot. (actually looking over some other of my screenshots it seems that they all lot god awful compared to actuallt running on the Vita)

Also I played more of the 1st game and I can tell some of the sounds are either removed or maybe glitched but so far thats the only other negative for the game. I tried the 2nd game too and it does run alot better, nice and smooth FPS until alot of enemies are on screen I.E Saving Kor and little boy after you first escape. But even then its still pretty good!

I'm half way throught the first game now and I hardly even notice the framerate anymore. I've noticed a good amount of sound glitches especially lost precursor city that can be annoying plus Jak breathes... ALOT lol. Another thing I was worried about were the A-Grav Zoomer portions of the game and luckily they run smooth even though the camera kind of bounces up and down when riding it.

So far though no serious glitches like not being able to get a power cell. Catching the muse had me worried though because I punched it a few time and it didn't register I caught it but I guess I had to hit it pretty much dead on.

I really hope they do patch the game because with a little more polish it could be just as good as the PS3 version. But regardless it still plays like the originals so kudos to the devs on that.
