Also I played more of the 1st game and I can tell some of the sounds are either removed or maybe glitched but so far thats the only other negative for the game. I tried the 2nd game too and it does run alot better, nice and smooth FPS until alot of enemies are on screen I.E Saving Kor and little boy after you first escape. But even then its still pretty good!

Thanks man.  Do you mind keeping me updated with your thoughts on the game as you go through, particularly the performance?  I've played them all on PS2 so I just want to know how well they run on Vita.

Still, hearing that Jak 2 runs okay is promising.  Once the Collection drops to around £20 I suppose I'll invest; it'll be worth that to have Jak 2 on the go alone (it's easily my favourite of the trilogy).  I wonder if the game will ever get patched.

I'm half way throught the first game now and I hardly even notice the framerate anymore. I've noticed a good amount of sound glitches especially lost precursor city that can be annoying plus Jak breathes... ALOT lol. Another thing I was worried about were the A-Grav Zoomer portions of the game and luckily they run smooth even though the camera kind of bounces up and down when riding it. 

So far though no serious glitches like not being able to get a power cell. Catching the muse had me worried though because I punched it a few time and it didn't register I caught it but I guess I had to hit it pretty much dead on.  

I really hope they do patch the game because with a little more polish it could be just as good as the PS3 version. But regardless it still plays like the originals so kudos to the devs on that.
