Pokemonbrawlvg said: @lestadark I'm saying it would be a perfect for someone who wants to play a quick level. I know there's some content to be found, but Escape Plan has about the same amount of content(don't counting DLC) and the touch controls on Escape Plan are more immerse than Sumioni's,which uses both touch and motion control for multiple puzzles, removing traps and objects, and movement. A game like Escape Plan is made for the Vita, despite what Sumioni may offer as a beat-em up side scoller, it's really nothing special compared to what Escape Plan has to offer. By the way, it's "DSiWare" not "WiiWare". |
We still don't know enough about the content of Sumioni to make that assumption, but I hardly believe both games will have the same amount of content, especially since (once more), the structure of Sumioni is extremely similar to that of Muramasa (with all the branching paths and multi endings) and level length is bound to increase as you go along (can't possibly expect that every level is finished in 2 minutes or less now can you?), especially if it follows a level progression as the Patapon games of the PSP (first levels could be finished as well in 2 minutes or less, later level could well be over 20 minutes).
It's all a matter of opinion whether or not Escape Plan or Sumioni are special or not. To me, Escape Plan is nothing special (nothing I haven't seen before in lots of tablet games), but Sumioni combines two mechanics from two of my favourite games, Okami and Muramasa, so to me, Sumioni can be very special.
And yeah, I know that it is DSiWare (heck i'm at the Nintendo E-Shop right now on the 3ds
), didn't double check my writting there xD
