These statements continue to disappoint me.

It was a joke.. because in Monpiece You litterally FAP your Vita to boost up your character's powers.. and Demon Gaze is a very niche game...

@Scisca @naruball @kresnik: About you conversation I have to say... that what make a game portable is the console where it runs.. The eternal goal/dream of portable gamers is to play console-like games on their portable.. bit-sized games are great for those bus trip or those little waits on a quore.. but is really the AAA productions like Uncharted, Assasin's creed, Kingdome hearts, metal gear Solid, Final fantasy, Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, etc that make the console sell..

So no one can say that the 3Ds is a hot rigth now because the games are bit-sized or fractioned.. most of 3DS hits are console like games adapted to the hardware of 3DS, like Resident evil, New Super Mario, Monster hunter, etc..

and PSP is the best example, I could name a lot of uniques games for the console.. like Patapon and half minute heroes, butthe best seller games are those that are nearer the console experience.. like MGS PW, FFType0, Valkirya Chronicles, those GTA, Gow of Wars, etc...

And about ports or Crossplay titles.. I think that's a great feature that all PS3 and PSVita players benefit.. in a near future when PS4 release PS3 will get some third party titles and PSVita too, thanks to this feature... by example, the recent Legend of Heroes Sen no kiseki, initially was announced/hinted for PS3 sometime ago before the first Trails in Skies HD for ps3 released.. but then it became a PSVita title with crossplay... Vita and PS3 ensure third and first party titles for the years ahead, plus their uniques titles coming.. or that's how I see it..

That's just the thing people say about a lot of stuff now and everything gets a label slapped on it regardless of if it deserves it or not. If people really wanted masterbation material in a game, they wouldn't look for it on a handheld or console.

Can't see why not!  Always nice to have alternatives to the crew.  Naturally, we'd be going for a full trophy set, so I hope you don't mind a little bit of challenge later on once we get to level 60+!

No, but I recall you telling me to grab it since it's free.  I just haven't had the time to boot it up.

Anyone played Retro City Rampage? I was sure I'd buy it, but decided to play the demo first and I've got mixed emotions now. I was expecting something like the original GTA, just with more options, better gameplay and only worse graphics. What I've played is nowhere near as good as GTA! The demo is really quite bad, very chaotic and short, which doesn't help. I'm really confused at this point.
Has onyone of you bought this game? Does it get better after the crazy start?

I think I have to disagree with you there.  Resident Evil, for example, has done pretty horribly on 3DS.  

Monster Hunter is another story.  That's not really a home console series anymore, it's been adopted on handhelds much better.  Presumably because of the "pick up and play" nature of the game. 

Out of the games you listed for PSP - MGS Peace Walker, Final Fantasy Type 0 and the GTA games were all adapted for handhelds in some way too, and that's exactly what I'm talking about.  Blockbuster franchises are going to help Vita, but they've got to be portable-friendly.

By the way, I'm not saying handheld design should be 5 minute missions throughout the game or anything.  Just more sort of... do whatever you want kind of style.  So that you can feel like when you pick it up, whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, you can contribute to the game.  I've sat playing GTA Vice City Stories for hours at a time progressing the main story; but I've also been able to pick it up for 10 minutes and manage my empire or something, and that kind of design works better.

Like I say, it's an interesting topic that I enjoy hearing thoughts about.  And you know, I do personally enjoy playing home console-esque experiences on my Vita.  But the market, as a whole, doesn't seem to, and I don't want to see this device go down the pan when some really simple things could help it.  Maybe the price cut it all it needs and in 12 months time this kind of post will seem really silly, but somehow I doubt it.
