well, it's not as bad as having actors pretending to play a game.

yea, so its obvious it can hanlde and i'm sure it was quickly ported and NOT OPTIMIZED at all. so should be able to be much better
but still laughing at those saying it looks worse than 360

The funny thing is they don't even need to do much since the setup is close to a 360 lol, it'd just run a lot smoother and look the same for the most part. Hell, it's prolly easier to work with than the 360 at this point in time from a PC dev kit because I'll bet it has more and faster memory.

All I know is when the Wii U is finally released... if you thought all those GameTrailers and Lens of Truth graphic comparison videos and articles were bad, the Wii U is gonna take them to a whole 'nother level.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
| milkyjoe said: As I've mentioned elsewhere, the 'worst' (and also the funniest part of all this), would be the people who thought that the showreel of PS3/360 footage looked sub PS3/360 level when they thought it was actual Wii U footage. It's an interesting look into the minds of certain types of gamer.... |
I sense a big wave of dissapointment when those games hit PS360, then.

I never took them to be Wii U games. I figured from the beginning that they were from the other consoles. It's pretty Early still. Not sure why anyone would think this is a big deal

Definitely this. And I also never took these to be actual WiiU footage, just displays of the sort of games to come. What I find much (much, much ) more hilarious is this, taken from neogaf:

Haha, 360 and ps3 graphics are better. So little detail in the environments.
Games are still Wii-quality.
Ports looks worse than their PS3/360 incarnations.
Games still look worse than 360 and PS3 to me?
Same here in my opinion.
Hm, not even 360/PS3 level. Don't know. Controller is maybe nice in a functional way, but doesn't look comfortable to hold.
didn't look any better than 360. looked worse imo

That's what i've been thinking

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
It's not really surprising to learn that developers don't have complete builds ready to go for hardware that's 18 months away from release. I'd say using rival consoles to render the games is less deceptive than using pre-renders.
I totally thought that Zelda demo was a pre-render, actually, but from what I read now it actually isn't. Though it is a scripted demo sequence rather than an actual interactive game.
