Retail price for the upcoming remake of Halo CE has been confirmed.

so 2/3rds normal retail, that WOULD make it £27 in UK but will probably be £30

Should cost about $60 here in australia... but at least that's better than paying the normal price of $99.95 . ^_^ So excited for this game... multiplayer especially.

Its only the first one and its $40????? Thats a little steep for a 10 year old game.

Glad it's cheaper than normal retailer games. I would have bought it regardless, but this just makes it sweeter.

As if it matters how old it is or if you've played it before, a lot of people might not have, and it's completely remastered so worth the money.

Is it just remastered or completely redone.  If its remastered, like the PS2 titles have been on the PS3, then the price is expensive.  It may only be worth it if it was a complete remake on the newer engines.  

Guys one thing you should be aware of: This will NOT feature online MP of Halo 1. It's simply a map pack for Halo Reach.

IMHO they lost a sale with me (well at full price anyways, I'll wait for it to hit $20 or less at this point) and possibly a lot other people not having Halo 1 MP.
