I wouldn't trust anythign out of Africa. AIDS is transmitted through bodily fluids, not how close they are to immune cells.

it's not claiming curing it's making someone less likely to get it By making the penis less likely to have nicro abrasions allowing other bodly fluids in.

Also last I checked the article in the post above is scientific american. They are doing it in Africa because that's where aids is worse. I don't see why you need to site bad sources.

I was bringing this up to show that there is some medical benefic to circumcision. It's a different argument on if it should be done on infants, I'm just pointing out there are benefits.

you do know that it is illegal to do female circumcision over here, and is also taboo in religion. actually come to think about it if anyone actaully did that there would be alot of media coverage and trail. You associate the circumcision being by some uneducated african proabably somewhere  in kenya or niroubi with him doing it for islam when they actually have tribal ritauls for that and has nothing to do with islam. You know thats like associating rape and child molestation with christains because of there priests.

It has nothing to do with islam and is a sin in islam to do that end of story. why they do it is nothing associated with islam.they can't use it even slightly as an excuse.

Genital mutilation should never be allowed without the permission of the person being mutilated. Wait until the child grows up and then allow them to make the decision for themselves.

I find it funny that the people that actually care about this are the people who have not had their dicks altered. The people like me do not even know what it is like to have foreskin. When you never had something you don't know what your missing and so no real harm is done.

I believe it is blasphemy and against the will of God to cut something off the body he has thought necessary when he created us in his image!
