Im sure he understand that, the point is that it doesnt apply to level-5. Most jRPG lover will agree that games like dragon quest VIII or jeanne darc are awesome game, not overrated at all.  Like Mirson stated, other games like WKC and Rogue galaxy are average, but they wasnt rated very high anyway.

Damn shame the reviewer didn't enjoy it more.
I, however, loved the original and I'm looking forward to playing this one.

Its not like JRPGs gets good reviews ever since the begining of this gen.

FF13 = 83 and thats the highest as it gets for JRPG that released on ps3 or 360.

Yeah lets not kid ourselfs. The first game had many problems and it felt unrewarding for an RPG. Only hardcore RPG fans love this series. A 5/10 is very fitting to the average gamer. The story is forgetable in my opinion. Its only the people who pumped 100s of hour into the first game that truely appreciate the series. Still I'll pick the game up in a month when the summer gaming drought kicks in. Heres hoping they fixed the guild ranking system and made your town less of a grind to get running.

Heh, I wonder how all the reviewers scored it so bad and yet many people here love it. I for one enjyoed it, too, and I looking forward to the second one. Especially cool is the transferring function so that I can start where I last left on WKC1. :D

I never trusted Eurogamer anyway. most games I enjoyed where scored bad by Eurogamer.
