I don't understand how they are the most overrated JRPG developer. They're not one of the greatest necessarily but in order to be overrated, there has to be some hype around some game that ends up disappointing. The hype for the first WKC wasn't that big by the time it released and the only hype I've even heard about the sequel was that it comes with the first game bundled...

If some of your games get good to great scores, yet all of them actually suck... well, then you are overrated.

Im sure he understand that, the point is that it doesnt apply to level-5. Most jRPG lover will agree that games like dragon quest VIII or jeanne darc are awesome game, not overrated at all.  Like Mirson stated, other games like WKC and Rogue galaxy are average, but they wasnt rated very high anyway.
