I'm doubting it, unless MS overships for Q4 just so they can win this small victory.  But that will in turn affect their next Q1 shipments. 

BTW do you have Q4 from last year?  Would be interesting to compare the 2.

Hmmm its possible but will pretty close. Summer is generally a slow time for hardware as a whole and not sure how much they'll be shipping in June.

Either way its certainly doable and not unreasonable but I think PS3 probably pulls off the higher shipment numbers.

Anyway, after seeing that, then I will say no way.  Even if it is up YOY and sells 2 mil in Q4, it will only bring it to 13.8, or 500K under the PS3.

Just one corretion about FY.

July 2010 to June 2011 = Microsoft FY 2011
April 2010 to March 2011 = Sony FY 2010

So the right is question if Microsoft FY 2011 can outship Sony FY 2010? My answer is no.

Sony FY 2011 begun in April 2011 and ends in March 2012.

Wow MS has a chance at shipping 14 million consoles in a Fiscal year. Xbox 360 is a giant!

Most probably not, because MS won't overship just for pride sake. But there is a possibility, that at E3 they announce something big, very big, and to be launched immediately, in this case shipping more during the rest of June could be justified. Also, in case a new SKU is going to replace an existent one, clearing the old stocks could make sense too, and this too could boost shippings.
